  • Very nice indeed...but(t) tell me: how many motor cars, of your type and vintage, are NOT nicknamed "Christine'?

  • @zuzulo56

How many people fell in love with a DeLorean by watching the movie "Back To The Future"? How many people identify a black '82 Trans Am as "K.I.T.T."? How many "Dukes" are driving an orange '69 Charger called "General Lee"? What I'm trying to say: It's all about the movies that made these cars famous. Since I first saw the movie "Christine" as a child, I always dreamed about this car. That's why her name will always be "Christine"...

  • 318 polys are awsome, even with a 2barrel they are runnin with 290hp that is the same as a383 big block 2barrel now if it had dual quad set up it would be running around 350hp

  • Im thinking a car that big really needs at least a 440 or hemi.

  • @mercmarc

You don't really need a BB in a cruiser like this. Even a 318 could be really souped up but I guess the only thing I'll do someday is an upgrade to a 4bbl or 2x 4bbl setup...

  • It had 2 4 bbl carbs from the factory that was a 318 called duel fury power.

  • Well, you should take another look at the "show me" scene and tell me what you see...

  • christeen didnt have a golden commando in it. It used the duel fury power option.

  • How can you be sure about that information?

  • Well i guess it depends on what book you are looking at but at the beginning of the movie on the assembly line it shows slant distributor in front of the motor making it a commando witch would be a 350 cu in.

  • really really awesome car :D
