  • Poor Tom. I agree about the Gearheart smirk....

  • Injured Worker Fraud is less than 1%. Employer Fraud is approximately 19%, so why don't we hear about the greatest slice of fraud that brings the system to a standstill INSURER FRAUD!!!

    Ask yourself.

The insurance industry spends a lot of money so that you don't learn the answer.

  • Wow, strong opinions for both sides. I agree that there is a small percentage of "insurance fraud" if you define it as a totally bogus claim. However, embellishment is very common...sleep disorder?! Really?! All I know is that this video was hilarious no matter which side you come from.

  • I especially like the Tom Pegnim part, and the characterization of the Board as Arnold's lackeys.

Seems very Frosty to me ... don't you think?

  • This video might seem extreme and offensive to others but until you yourself are truly injured and suffer severe psychological trauma, emotional breakdown and loose everything you've worked your whole life for! And you still have to fight the corrupt insurance companies while sick! Whom only care about saving money, then one can relate to the hitler simularity between him and the workers comp system! They both are killing and hurting lots of families! We just never HEAR ABOUT IT! WHY!

  • Some people can not read newspapers, evidently.

Injured worker fraud is less than one percent. The big fraud is from the insurance companies. The largest in the state of California is the model of corruption. Since they are a quasi governmental agency, the perpetrators still are at large.

I agree, we should not need attorneys at all in a "no fault" system. Unfortunately the judges don't seem to find the time to issue sanctions to penalize the carriers. I have seen lives destroyed by the "game".

  • Why do we need Advocate Attorneys in a "no fault" system? It appears their only purpose is to transfer money from one account to another and to punish employers in the process. Their motivation is simple greed. Now we have a case that ignores reasonableness so greedy attorneys can get more money for the entitled and for themselves. Banker's greed killed the world economy. Now Advocate Attorney greed is trying to drive out even more businesses and kill even more jobs. Who are the real Hitlers?

  • being an examiner is the pits, but this video just made my day. that was so funny. and yes, i want my rise!

  • Obviously, office75 has not represented hundreds of truly disabled workers for years against the wealthy insurance companies. Anyone fighting the good fight knows that any huge percentage of bogus claims is a myth perpetuated by companies seeking bigger and bigger profits. This video hit the right note for me. I despise insurance companies and all they stand for -- profit at any cost while stepping over disabled bodies!

  • I know there are truly injured workers. I am not talking about the person who falls off a roof. I am talking about the majority of litigated claims which involve a soft tissue injury with bogus claims of psyche, internal, sleep loss etc... These "extras" are added on many claims and they are false. They only enrich lien claimants.

  • don't forget the sexual dysfunction from the broken finger.

  • Wow I can't believe you would compare employers, attorneys, and insurance companies fighting mostly bogus claims to Nazis responsible for the slaughter of 6 million innocent Jews. Shame on you. Very offensive to all Jews let and anyone who lost loved ones in that period. Disgusting and pathetic.

  • I'll use this in the next professionalism seminar that I teach to demonstrate what true excess looks like - it's no wonder that the rest of the world thinks used car salesmen have more integrity than lawyers. This is shameful.

  • I have not laughed so hard in my entire time doing comp, I mean... while at work!

    Kudos!
