Whether or not a mother is able to care for their child has no place in the debate on whether or not it is okay to abort a fetus. The question is whether or not a fetus, at whatever point it's at, is and/or should be valued as a human life. Obviously if it's valued as a human life a mother who can't take care of her "potential" baby shouldn't be able to kill it for that reason. That would be equivalent to killing an already born child with a bad life situation.

Aborting a fetus before 12 weeks is like a women having a period and a man ejaculating... i dont to offend but at that time the 'baby' is merely a cell.... like a females egg and a males sperm... its not an animal yet its still just a cell. @david52875 What I am saying is a fertilised egg is a cell just as an egg and sperm are cells therefore removing a fetilised egg before it forms is just like removing sperm and an unfertilisted egg... they are all just sex cells and a fertilised egg at an early stage has not gone through mitosis. I know its hard but people need to realise that at that early stage a baby is nothing more than a bundle of cells.

You are not making any positive claims, yet. You make the positive claim when you say that you have a right to life now, whereas when you a fetus you didn't. I'll explain in the next posts.

If P did not have a right to life at time A, the A < T. If P does have a right to life at time B, then T < B.

@david52875 Well when I was conceived I was in the hands of my mother, she chose whether or not I lived, not me, if I wouldve harmed my mum or was disabled to the point where she could not look after me then I would not wanted to have been born as I may have hurt or even killed her and I would've forgave her. Sure I may of been aborted but at least she didnt die in childbirth and left my dad, they could've tried again.

Many cannot exist or survive without some sort of outside intervention, such as a mother or a care taker. Their inability to survive outside of this is completely beyond their control. Whether or not a mother is able to care for their child has no place in the debate on whether or not it is okay to abort a fetus. The question is whether or not a fetus, at whatever point it's at, is and/or should be valued as a human life. Obviously if it's valued as a human life a mother who can't take care of her "potential" baby shouldn't be able to kill it for that reason. That would be equivalent to killing an already born child with a bad life situation.

w1 and w2 are not the same thing. To say that w1 = W and w2 = W would be to say that w1 = w2, which is false, so 2 is false. So than 3 must be correct. W was formed at time T, and w1 and w2 are not W. Now substitute the sperm and egg for w1 and w2 and you see that the sperm and egg are not the fetus. Saying an abortion is murder is not saying ejaculation or menstruation is murder.

@david52875 What I am saying is a fertilised egg is a cell just as an egg and sperm are cells therefore removing a fetilised egg before it forms is just like removing sperm and an unfertilisted egg... they are all just sex cells and a fertilised egg at an early stage has not gone through mitosis. I know its hard but people need to realise that at that early stage a baby is nothing more than a bundle of cells.

A < T < B.
Since you are making a positive claim, you also need to provide the evidence to support that claim. In other words, the burden of proof is not on you.

Your burden of proof is to prove either that the fetus does not have a right to life or that the mother could still somehow kill the fetus even though it has rights. Many cannot exist or survive without some sort of outside intervention, such as a mother or a care taker. Their inability to survive outside of this is completely beyond their control. Is it justified to kill them because of this? When they didn't choose to be incapacitated or dependant? It's about choice, right?

In medical terms death is defined as the ceasing of brain activity and an absence of heartbeat. who wants to tell me unborn babies don't have a heatbeat or brain activity? so if you dismember them in utero, and crush the head to get it out, how is that not the taking of a life? Second, many women who would have an abortion early in their life but end up having a baby later would no longer do so, so there would be a net increase of 0 people. Third, how did you end up with the number 400 million? You don't post any sources or math, so nobody is going to take that number seriously.

Yes we draw a line of difference between foetuses before a certain time and babies that are actually born just like we draw a difference between humans and apes and other animals.
