accually i just checked, the 1998 models accually had similar rad shroud to the new to bikes, apparantlly they switched it up alot. I just remember the 96 bikes were flat on the front of the shroud and the 97 and 98 bikes were curved in like the modern machines. search "1998 rm125" in google images and click the first pic, there is pics and specs on all years of rm125's gotta bookmark that one lol
