@adiostraitorobama I didn't inhale any water. I do feel that I was on the verge of going unconscious at the time of hitting the guys leg. When I hit his legs, it was a big thud and I was instantly hauled out of the water. I did cough a lot when on the beach, was weak and SOB. I also felt euphoric in a mystical way - adrenaline? I have no idea how long I was underwater, at the time I could swim under water 2 lengths of an Olympic pool, 100m. So my lung capacity at the time was very good.

I had an NDE drowning as a child. I can attest to the feeling of peace and the aqua coloring and light swirling about. I'm still not sure if it was just the sight of the water around me before I went completely unconscious. Somehow I was washed up on the shore and able to wake back up. Still have no idea how long I was out or how I got back to life. All I'm sure of is that, after the initial panic and resistance, there is absolute peace and beauty.

I'll give you a very academic answer: It's because we are not perfect beings, and as we are, we can't yet accept this love. And for that we have to purify ourself. Probably over the course of many lifetimes. And that's why we are here. Ultimately everyone is destined to experience this pure love of God and stay there... This is just an answer, it may or may not satisfy you.

My first drowning experience was the first time i tried shortboards while surfing, i wanted the next wave after a wave came to me and i was on top of that wave and i fell forward instead of sliding back, the straps from my legs to the surfboard was off and i was spinning around underwater as I came up and took a breath another wave hitted me, after gotten hit with 5 ways and drinking half litter of salt water a surfer came and help, it was so nasty and scary!

I'll give you a very academic answer: It's because we are not perfect beings, and as we are, we can't yet accept this love. And for that we have to purify ourself. Probably over the course of many lifetimes. And that's why we are here. Ultimately everyone is destined to experience this pure love of God and stay there... This is just an answer, it may or may not satisfy you.

My first drowning experience was the first time i tried shortboards while surfing, i wanted the next wave after a wave came to me and i was on top of that wave and i fell forward instead of sliding back, the straps from my legs to the surfboard was off and i was spinning around underwater as I came up and took a breath another wave hitted me, after gotten hit with 5 ways and drinking half litter of salt water a surfer came and help, it was so nasty and scary!

Anytime large amounts of people turn from God, He wipes that whole region off the map--sometimes through supernatural disasters (i.e. tsunamis, earthquakes) or plague. Bubonic plague, typhus, smallpox, cholera, yellow fever, influenza, scarlet fever, malaria, diphtheria, and poliomyelitis are some infectious diseases that have resulted in epidemic or pandemic outbreaks.

Nice story, but not reality then again reality is not what xtianity is about.
I like how god gave the Muslims all the oil, they must be his new choosen people!

I have to tell you guys something(it's from personal experiences) be diligently careful of what you interpret from the convenience of supposed divine revelations and supposed messages from God Himself. Because there are some divine revelations from God's consent or divine experiences, but there are some revelations that are of the Devil or there are some revelations that are partially Divine messages and partially man's opinionated ideas. I warn you to line every testimony to the Word of God.

gabeross: By the Word of God I assume you mean the Bible. According to Bart Ehrman, in "Misquoting Jesus", he found it to be mans' word, not God's word. I call it Constanines' bible, because at the Council of Nice they decided what went into the bible.
Truly, there are many false revelations out there.
