Hi Joe, Here in Brazil is very difficult to find someone to set an harmonica and I was afraid to try intil I saw these videos. I was able to do good job on a GoldenMelody and now I can start practicing Overblows Overdrows!!
This simple set of tutorials hastaken away my fear of working on my harps really helped me improve my GM`s.I used one of the screw drivers from my mini screwdriver set but now have the tool you are using in these videos. Do you dull the point?
Actually I sharpen the point for maximum control. You don't want the tool to slip...if it does you'll know why not the first time it happens. Be careful!!!!!!

I assume that is because if it slips it bends the reed way too much and possibly breaks it.
I just bought a Stanley 4 pc. hook set.

Do you use a dart tip sharpener,or...?

I just use sandpaper, but you have a good idea, actually a dart tip would make a great tool!
