How do you like the mixer? Does it handle bales of silage very well or does it take quite a bit of time to mix them in.

We love it! We got a 3 litre milk response in February when we first bought it. The only difference we made when we first tried it out was feeding PKE in the mixer wagon together with 2 bales of hay instead of separate. Silage is no probs as long as you take off the plastic! As long as you have the water in the wagon already it mixes it thoroughly =) We rekon it does such a good job we are keeping the wagon despite getting out of dairying due to bushfire and prices.
