Very haunting, and it brings out some true sadness in the song. I LOVE this cover. Ride wrote one of the most perfect tunes, and TW covered it amazingly. I usually HATE when a song I love is covered, but this is one of those VERY rare occasions when the cover takes on a life of it's own. Her voice is sultry and sad at the same time. I just can't compliment TW enough. Off to Amazon to buy the CD now.

This is haunting! I love it. Got stationed in England in 1990 and I witnessed the whole shoe gazing movement in full. Ride changed my whole musical landscape. I always called it liquid sound.

It's nice, but the problem with cover songs is that they have to add something to the original. In this case the original by Ride was perfect and complete so very difficult to improve on. The vocals and giutar are lovely but the drum machine is very dull.

i don't think they have to add something...just make it their own. because the original band makes a song in their own way...and you cover it in the way you express yourself. like the cardigans cover of iron man. they don't go all metal to cover it...they stayed true to their style! :D

Great vocals. My favourite tune ever. Vocals nails it...choral keys are ok (cheapens the song.. not the effort of these guys)but the signature of the orig is the violin ending..hammer in there with a nice piano with your voice.

This is a ride tune.....and this is no way better.....just different! The original is exactly the same...they have just slowed it down....whats so different or improved about that?
