I'm halfway through the book and it's been an impressive novel so far, replete with clever, pinpoint analogies, extraordinarily witty dialogue, and memorable, euphonic one-liners. The kids do seem a bit tooo precocious though, especially little 12-year-old Stephen, who is (so far) holding his own in a moral philosophy "debate" with his stiff grad-school-professor dad. Other than that minor quibble, I'd give what I've read so far of the book a 4.5/5.
ok,we were all teens,at one time, what's the problem understanding them,we have the experience!
Has any heard of the gene or enzyms or such, one we have when young and it's really curious, feet off the ground, like a kid, and as we grow another gene kicks in and it releases a chemical or whatever, that says "Ok now settle down, get down earth, comform"?
Why not seek out Christopher Hitchens and/or his publisher, and mention your troubles getting published to him/them? His book "God is not Great" has attracted more hatred and controversy than your book (because he's popular).
how can moral be secular or religious? we (as an atheist) should not always counter our arguments agaist religions. we have more morals than theist and they have to prove that we are not correct.
smile, i know it was kinda messed up. what i meant was these religious people should argue that we (as atheist) are wrong. We should stop chasing the silly ideas of religous people.
You did a wonderful job on your book on secular moral. Although I think it can be fairly debated how UPB must be independent of situations, I think adding on arguments about what is worthy of truth and other aspects makes it pretty worth while as moral science. I see if my ltest book order from you gets shipped and then I buy this book and "On truth".
You should change the people into aliens then add some action..

Where is this guy from? He sounds brittish. If he's not brittish, then he's a fucking bag of self indulgent hot air likes to sound brittish.
