I'm sure he wrote down all the people who got the tickets, their personal information, and actually showed up for court as a witness and can therefore claim "they dismissed every ticket" with the full knowledge that they did.

He's full of it. Youtube if full of people like him, making false claims.

By law all these cars should stop for pedestrians and no one is forcing them not to stop. So they deserve the tickets.

this isnt entrapment they are breaking the law what happens if they were normal people crossing and it happened? then you would blame the drivers its not like the cops are jumping out in front of the cars you can clearly see most are slowing or stopping. also all fines issued should be enforced and not dismissed by that stupid judge

I broke my leg a few months ago.. Walking to the store on a crutch in a legal crosswalk, a motorist did not yeld and then he stopped to attack me... Anybody who think lawless motorists should get by violating others legal rights will not get any respect from me..

It does not matter if it was a sting.. the motorists are violating the laws and needed to be delt with. Still, fine are too low.. Base fines on peoples income, say 25% for each ticket...

my town i lived in my best friend was killed crossing a street in a crosswalk and the driver was never found and the cops told me they could not enforce like this video so think asshole

this is a trap, but not entrapment. entrapment is when they tell you to do something illegal and then catch you for it.

Just a follow-up. All these tickets were dismissed the day we went to court. So when you feel that you have been wronged , take it to court.

i have nothing against this actually. it's good that they have sting like this cause it makes pedestrian crossing safer. you wouldn't want to get hit while crossing either do you? it's just a matter of common sense people, when you see someone trying to cross, stop, let them pass, then go. its not entrapment because they are not forcing people to break the law. if the drivers are paying attention to the road then they wont get anywhere near the people crossing the street

I got stung today in Redwood City CA with such a trap.Went back to watch how they got me. Plain cloths officer would wait until traffic was coming down the street two by two and bumper to bumper and then he would wait until you would have time to stop safely before he would start his walk out.

20 ticket in twenty minutes @ $250.00 each
