I don't think that people properly appreciate the impact that Peter will have on the Senate. Right now there is no credible, effective voice in support of the free market in the senate. @BMac7773 He believes that the federal government doesn't have the power to say whether it is legal or illegal because the constitution doesn't grant them those powers. He thinks those are decisions that need to be made on a state level.

The problem will be that if Mr. Schiff loses his run for the senate he will have to hear about it from all the news shows he will go on. "So Peter why was your run for the senate rejected?" Isn't that a repudiation of your message? I can just hear it already.
Kudos to those without a lot of money donating to Peter's campaign. The only way he can go from a long shot to a winner is through that kind of support. Continue to spread the word and as he picks up steam the contributions will only get better
I am a student on a low budget and a lot of debt. I have donated $25 dollars to Peter Schiff a few months back, and I have donated $25 again today. Peter has donated a lot of time to his dedicated viewers, I think everyone should try to donate something back to him now. This is the moment when we can help him the most. Even if you can donate $1, you will be considered a donor, and you will be responsible for sending Peter Schiff to the US Senate. Cheers!
Do you support the change from a debt based money system controlled by the Federal Reserve to a debt free money system where Congress has zero debt and zero borrowing because it furnishes its own money?
i can't remember what state it was...but i remember in the 2008 presidential campaign there was some places where you couldn't walk around without tripping over a Ron Paul sign...but you know, that campaign was poorly managed. I think Schiff is doing a much better job. I think he has a great chance.
Everyone needs to step it up and donate what they can. Even if it's the bare minimum. Don't rely on others to donate on your behalf. That's how we'll lose.
I detest when people use the term "pro abortion", or "for abortion". That is completely not the case. Nobody loves abortion. The fact of the matter is it is a woman's right to choose what happens to her body. Everybody needs to walk a mile in the other person's shoes before making judgments.
@modo101 that is a liberaleque lie. brain dead liberal like you will repeat what the television told you. if they didn't like abortion, they would not push for it. let's not mince words. that's like saying people don't like medicine. you are liberals and you are liars. she had a choice and she should be held to it. much rather see 100000 liberals death than 1 innocent child. these people like you need to be found.
@modo101 Do you not know what your talking about?? A womans rights?? How about the babys rights?? Give me a break, I can understand if they was raped but just doing that just cause they don't want it is naive. What does everyone think sex is for?? Mainly for making another human being. I agree people should always think about how it would be in anothers shoes and not judge but we need common sense as well.
@QuasiConvexAnalysis Thats the whole point of sex (pleasure is part of sex also DUR), or maybe you are to dumb or to young to understand that, prob a bit of both lmao.
Message of support from france. Here all our politicians are completely retarded, it's depressing. I dont really believe in politics but i still hope people from connecticut will elect Peter Schiff.
I gather that Peter does not actively support abortion and he does not oppose abortion. He believes that the states should decide and not the federal government.
I am student on a low budget and a lot of loans. I donated $25 a few months back... and I have just donated $25 again. My life has not drastically changed as a result of these donations. Peter Schiff donates a lot of time to his dedicated viewers. I urge all you guys to donate anything you can afford. Even if its $1, you will count as a donor and you will be responsible for putting this man into congress. Cheers!
Peter,, could you tell us how you are related to the Schiff family who lived and intermarried with the Rothchilds, were one of the original architects/shareholders of the federal reserve, and funding of the Nazi party
Well I agree abortion isn't right, however I don't expect anyone will ever find a candidate they agree 100% with, and if you do, that's kind of scary. However if abortion is the most important issue for you and things like the constitution and the country's economy come second, then yeah, Schiff's not the guy for you.
You shouldn't base your support for candidates on useless issues such as abortion or gay marriage. What does it matter if abortion is legal or not when the country goes down the tubes due to finances.
Even if he was against abortion, he couldn't do anything to prohibit it anyway so why base your opinion on such a stupid issue?
@warlocks4life You could argue the same against every one of Schiff's economic issues. It isn't likely at all right now that this country is likely to stop it's slide into socialism, it's reckless borrowing, or it's fiat currency. All of these things have probably been going on longer than abortion and will be just as hard or harder to stop. So by that token, Schiff shouldn't bother running at all.
@cryengine Peter stands for a constitutional government. If you outlaw abortion the illegal surgeries will end up killing pregnant mothers as well. I agree abortion is a horrible act, but a moral choice act from an individual it is.
No, it isn't. That's like saying killing somebody is a moral choice.
The fact is I just saw an article in the paper today that Mexico is moving fast towards a total ban on abortion. Most Latin American countries already have that. Maybe that's one reason they probably have a brighter future than the USA these days.
@Cryengine So killing someone is not a moral choice? Should we start imprisoning women with unwanted pregnancies? I think you need to read some more about the certain states that have outlawed abortion in Mexico. A new national study shows that the number of abortions performed in Mexico increased by one-third between 1990 and 2006 (from 533,000 to 875,000), despite legal restrictions that virtually ban the procedure in most parts of the country
@6024691380 Come on, are you really this illogical? Next let us ask "should we really imprison murderers? After all it will never stop murder history has shown".
The answer is yes.
Who said anything about imprisoning women with unwanted pregnancies???
But we should penalize women who have abortions, certainly. Probably with the death penalty imo.
And I think your study came from the Guttmacher institute, yeah not exactly an unbiased source.
@Cryengine so now you are against abortion in all forms but for the death penalty, OK that makes sense. Regarding the constitution, you would have to amend both Article 9 and 14 which guarantee rights to people born or naturalized in the USA and all other rights reserved to the States.
@6024691380 Also hy did you ignore what I said about the constitution?
On the one hand Schiff and presumably you are all about the constitution and strict interpretation, Seemingly in this instance your arguments are based on nothing to do with the constitution.
There is no right to privacy in the constitution. Roe v Wade is therefore fiat to start. Somebody like Schiff should certainly be screaming that from the rooftops regardless his personal stance on abortion.
If Schiff stands for Constitutional government, then he would denounce one of the greatest anti-constitutional Supreme Court decisions of all time when they fabricated a "right to privacy" that doesn't exist in the constitution.

Schiff forfeited the respect I had for him when he blew off a question recently regarding a new investigation into 9/11. For him to stand there with his face hanging & state that he was not aware of any unanswered questions related to 9/11 is simply not believable. Is he living in this world with the rest of us? No unanswered questions? That leaves one with only one conclusion regarding Mr. Schiff, and it ain't flattering. Truly pathetic.
Use your brain man. Any candidate who comes off as questioning 9-11 is pretty much toast. The media and the candidate's opponents would twist that completely around and he wouldn't have a chance of winning.
It must suck not having any candidates to vote for since you are a one issue voter.
URGENT: After the Healthcare garbage...now Obama and good old Nancy are going to allow illegal aliens amnesty. Mark my words...you saw it here first. Why would they do this? It gives the Democrats 40,000,000 (40 million) more votes to keep them in office forever. This country is one big train wreck!
When it comes to Job Creation, it's another evidence of just how brainless American people are.
50% of Americans (Democrats) love to see the gov to raise tax on the Wealthy and yet they do *not* understand it is the Wealthy that creates jobs for them.
So let me get this straight, you want to raise tax and punish the very people that you want jobs from?
Those "pro-war" Americans also do not understand how broke this country.
It's simply retarded to be spending billions and billions of dollars promoting democracy, freedom and liberty in other countries when Americans are losing these rights everyday right here on their homeland.
Wow i don't know how long you have been in America but you really do not seem to understand it at all.....I dont blame you as you grew up outside the U S...but do some reading on American history.....
I understand this country more than you do, more than most Americans do.
It is because I understand so well what Constitutions mean, what the proper role of the gov should be, that I support people like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff.
It is you that should understand your country more.
LOL...I don't like what the current government is doing any more than you do....but unlike you I have faith in the system and im not going to run away ...I will stay and fight for it...you should too...
You realize we are both on the same side...lol..i hope Peter wins also...It is difficult to remain positive...my hope is the left will push too hard and the backlash will kill them...lol
We invited the attack. The gov caused that 9/11 tragedy to happen.
And yet Americans just did *NOT* have the brain to understand all this.
They kept finger pointing at the middle east, calling them "terrorirsts"
How are those people terrorists? The Americans are just as "terrifying" as they are, this country's been bombing Iraq, camping over, telling them how to behave for decades!
Yes the terrorists are teriffied of America..because we want to enpower the people they want to enslave...We expect them to attack us....Americans understand this thats why we have a strong military to protect us....get it?
Abraham Lincoln is right....if we let our guard down......this world is run by humans and humans are violent by nature we cant change that only defend against it...the world is one big game of king of the hill...
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the gov from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." - Thomas Jefferson
I was immediately immensely impressed by the wisdom of his words when I first heard this quote.
Now just ponder of this for a sec and now look at "obama-care"
When Ron Paul in 2008 spoke of non-intervention foreign policy, to "commerce with all and yet form alliance with none".
He spoke to bringing the troops back.
How did the media react? How did the people react?
Ignored him.
This is why the tragic event 9/11 only could happen to United States and not other country. We were attacked not because we were wealthy and stand for freedom.
America is based on the idea that all humans deserve basic freedoms ..not just in America ....That is why americans reject protectionism....events like 911 will only strengthen our resolve......as the world has seen.
This country has military bases all over the world. We spend billions and billions on these wasteful things and we PISS off more people everyday we are there.
This is why tragedy like 911 could only happen to this country and not elsewhere.
Like what Ron Paul has repeated pointed out in the past, "we ought to ming our own business".
"The proper role of the gov is to protech the American people and *not* police the world."
Here I am, a foreigner initially, and later turned American citizen, donating my own money to Schiff *THREE TIMES* because I want to see this country prosper and succeed.
Sigh, I could only wish to see more native born Americans develope just a little more passion in their country.
The mass just seem more concerned with Michael Jackson's story or Britney Spears's next haircut .... SIGH SIGH
It's the system that is great.....people are people the world around.....thank you for your passion for this country....when threatened you will see the american spirit emerge.
Obama will blow through another 2T by the end of this year
Obama might leave Iraq but enter Afghan (maybe Iran too or Pakistan).
Obama's ramming health care down my throat and yours too.
I challenge people to just find ONE, JUST ONE thing Obama's different from Bush.
You mentioned "if people are threatened", The evidence is right in front of people's eyes and yet Americans continue to show more interest in who Brad Pit's new girlfriend is.
If you don't have opposition to your rule, create it yourself. Thus you shall fill in the void of people's need to oppose you and still control your opposition.
Every American should donate to Peter Schiff. Any PATRIOTIC American. Schiff is honest. You will have helped change the course of America. Schiff in the senate will be a boost for the libertarians and sound economy backers. Schiff in senate will be the best thing to happen to the senate in a long time.
That "woke up" moment can be quite overwhelming for some... Agree, best soften 'em up with baby steps first before letting 'em know just how screwed they are.
It is the American political system that is strong and it can and has survived the worst politicians.....Look around and you will see all countries having problems and the U S A is still the greatest country in the world......
USA is still the greatest country? It might still be perceived this way today, but certainly not in the future if these clowns in DC keep doing what they are doing.
Like what Peter said once, "these politicians are like kids with chemistry sets. They keep trying this or that hoping for a miracle. But they are blowing us all up"
I live in US but have roots in Asian countries. If things get bad, I'll have to get out of here.
@joechien0218 It is not the American way to run away when things get tough.....you get tougher......if more forigners would stay and change their countries from within this world would become a better place to live that much faster.
You mentioned "it's not the American way to run away when things get tough"
I fear that when things are so bad, that running away would be the only option. After all, it is SIMPLY UNFAIR to ask the next generation of Americans to pay for these fools mistakes.
Even Peter spoke of this once in one of his video blogs.
Running away is never an option.....once you start running you can never stop....I mean ...you left your country to come here...now you might leave this one....stay and take a stand...
The money seems to concern you the most...look at it this way the U S controlls the dollar and all other currancys are based on it...the reason that is because the military makes the U S the safest place to put your money.....the money supply of the world is floating free and currancys are all relative to each other...
Wait. So you are saying, the Americans should just continue consume what the rest of the world produces and we can continue to print money in perpetuity and expect no consequence?
Why are you even a Peter Schiff supporter anyway?
You have not learned ANYTHING from his video blogs then.
Peter is very smart and I agree with most of his opinions ...but not all....He is wrong about inflation...it is far to complacated to say in a few words.....I'm sure you dont agree with everything he sez ....Peter does not mindless followers does he?
I understand you frustration about american apathy....A democracy requires informed intelligent voters...It is not un american to discuss the issues ..thats for sure....lol
@IWashMyOwnBrain . I have no idea where you keep getting that nonsense that America's military is its currency strength. No one could argue that the US Military hasn't gained a greater presence or strength (size) in the last decade, yet the US dollar trajectory in that time has been straight down. I would argue the exact opposite, in that the military has wasted more of your dollars and have in fact lessened the strength of the dollar because of it,...... cont'
@IWashMyOwnBrain ..con't further more, with America's foreign policy, the military has ensured pretty much the maximum amount of worldly despise is being leveled upon them from all corners.
You may think the US dollar is safe and strong, but the FACTS tell the true tale. The US economy, Currency and raging deficits and debt are all conspiring against it. Just take the CAD dollar. They have no real military to speak of, yet their currency hasn't been this strong in decades.

I detest when people use the term "pro abortion", or "for abortion". That is completely not the case. Nobody loves abortion. The fact of the matter is it is a woman's right to choose what happens to her body. Everybody needs to walk a mile in the other person's shoes before making judgments.

I just googled and discovered you were a supporter of abortion. I guess thus ends my Peter Schiff fanboyism.
You probably frame it in states rights or something, but there's no states rights for murder.
Cryengine 1 year ago
Well I agree abortion isn't right, however I don't expect anyone will ever find a candidate they agree 100% with, and if you do, that's kind of scary. However if abortion is the most important issue for you and things like the constitution and the country's economy come second, then yeah, Schiff's not the guy for you.
MaurDL 1 year ago
You shouldn't base your support for candidates on useless issues such as abortion or gay marriage. What does it matter if abortion is legal or not when the country goes down the tubes due to finances.
Even if he was against abortion, he couldn't do anything to prohibit it anyway so why base your opinion on such a stupid issue?
warlocks4life 1 year ago
@warlocks4life You could argue the same against every one of Schiff's economic issues. It isn't likely at all right now that this country is likely to stop it's slide into socialism, it's reckless borrowing, or it's fiat currency. All of these things have probably been going on longer than abortion and will be just as hard or harder to stop. So by that token, Schiff shouldn't bother running at all.
Cryengine 1 year ago
@cryengine Peter stands for a constitutional government. If you outlaw abortion the illegal surgeries will end up killing pregnant mothers as well. I agree abortion is a horrible act, but a moral choice act from an individual it is.
6024691380 1 year ago
No, it isn't. That's like saying killing somebody is a moral choice.
The fact is I just saw an article in the paper today that Mexico is moving fast towards a total ban on abortion. Most Latin American countries already have that. Maybe that's one reason they probably have a brighter future than the USA these days.
Cryengine 1 year ago
@Cryengine So killing someone is not a moral choice? Should we start imprisoning women with unwanted pregnancies? I think you need to read some more about the certain states that have outlawed abortion in Mexico. A new national study shows that the number of abortions performed in Mexico increased by one-third between 1990 and 2006 (from 533,000 to 875,000), despite legal restrictions that virtually ban the procedure in most parts of the country
6024691380 1 year ago
@6024691380 Come on, are you really this illogical? Next let us ask "should we really imprison murderers? After all it will never stop murder history has shown".
The answer is yes.
Who said anything about imprisoning women with unwanted pregnancies???
But we should penalize women who have abortions, certainly. Probably with the death penalty imo.
And I think your study came from the Guttmacher institute, yeah not exactly an unbiased source.
Cryengine 1 year ago
@Cryengine so now you are against abortion in all forms but for the death penalty, OK that makes sense. Regarding the constitution, you would have to amend both Article 9 and 14 which guarantee rights to people born or naturalized in the USA and all other rights reserved to the States.
6024691380 1 year ago
@6024691380 Also hy did you ignore what I said about the constitution?
On the one hand Schiff and presumably you are all about the constitution and strict interpretation, Seemingly in this instance your arguments are based on nothing to do with the constitution.
There is no right to privacy in the constitution. Roe v Wade is therefore fiat to start. Somebody like Schiff should certainly be screaming that from the rooftops regardless his personal stance on abortion.
Cryengine 1 year ago
If Schiff stands for Constitutional government, then he would denounce one of the greatest anti-constitutional Supreme Court decisions of all time when they fabricated a "right to privacy" that doesn't exist in the constitution.
Otherwise he's a huge hypocrite.

Truly pathetic.
restoresoundmoney 1 year ago
Use your brain man. Any candidate who comes off as questioning 9-11 is pretty much toast. The media and the candidate's opponents would twist that completely around and he wouldn't have a chance of winning.
