But Mr. Democrat, why in the world are you sitting here watching Republican ads? I was annoyed a while ago because other Republicans were acting ignorant and coming up with stupid things like "Hussein" to attack Obama about. But the phrase "McBush" shows that you all are no better. McCain voted with Bush because he wouldn't have gotten the Republican nomination otherwise. And argh the link I clicked on wasn't supposed to take me here.
Shame on all Republicans! -Barrack (h) Obama is out spending John S. McCain by margins of 3:1 or 4:1 in all battleground states. This, together with the bad economic situation, explains McCain's numbers in the polls. If McCain has to have a fighting chance, concerned citizens should at least make a minimum contribution to the McCain-Palin Victory 2008 compliance fund now! Its now or never! Otherwise be ready for a thugocracy under a President Obama. Go to JohnMcCain(dot)com NOW!

This comment has received too many negative votesshow
John McCain won last night's debate! There is no question about it: McCain would make a great commander in chief of our armed forces and a great president!
Obama has no understanding of foreign affairs and no grasp of military matters. He would be a disastrous commander in chief of our armed forces, and as president he would institute socialism!
Vote McCain/Palin! Preserve and protect our American way of life!
Is your way of life $11 Trillion in debt? Is your way of life waging war so your friends can reap the benefit of contracting with the war machine? Is your way of life telling bald faced lies? If so, then yes, you should vote for your mentor!
foreign policy is John McCain's home field. The fact that Barack Obama held off John McCain as well as he did, shows that he is not as inept in foreign relations as republicans would like to think.
Therefore, I declare the winner of the first debate to be:
David Letterman, "You don't suspend your campaign. This doesn't smell right. This isn't the way a tested hero behaves." And he joked: "I think someone's putting something in his metamucil."
"He can't run the campaign because the economy is cratering? Fine, put in your second string quarterback, Sarah Palin. Where is she?"
"What are you going to do if you're elected and things get tough? Suspend being president? We've got a guy like that now!"
"Under the pressure of the financial crisis, one presidential candidate is behaving like a flustered rookie playing in a league too high. It is not Barack Obama."
bush ignored intelligence and allowed 9/11. then bush attacked iraq who had noting to do with 9/11. bush blew it completely on katrina. bush never got osama bin laden, and now al qaeda is bombing stuff again. bush put a missile base in poland which was an unnecessary act of provocation. naturally russia reacted by occupying georgia. now the economy is a mess. who could be a worse president? mccain is way more retarded than bush. he would make the bush administration look like a walk in the park.
McCain is such a liar! He even lied about gay rights. McCain's Chief of Staff, Mark Buse is gay and has apparently been in the closet for years! McCain needs to OPEN up his mouth and say the truth.
Buse's ex-boyfriend even posted a video with the two of them. Damning evidence.
Democrats=Do nothing congress and sat back and watched America spiral into a crisis for political gain. Where was Nancy P, Harry Reid, and Barack 2 years ago? I forgot, they were present.
Twisted little squirmy lib...go back to the CNN blogs.
NO that would be Clinton and the democrats. These problems all stem from the Clinton error and democrats forcing deregulation so any one with a social security number can get loans and now they blame the republicans. Get a clue! Knee jerk reactionism is not intelligent debate. Do not let the socialist movement influence your emotions. There objective is to destroy this country from the inside out. DId you know Obama was part of an extreme radical group with communist ties?
Umm... the republicans were in power (Congress) during the Clinton times.
Also I love your buzzwords, you know which ones. Socialist, communist, extreme, radical. Doesn't matter if it's false (which it is), it's the language used to piss people off. That's something communists would do during the Soviet Union times.
The only change you will get with Obama is coins in your pocket. Let's face it, you are going to lose you squirmy little libs. Is that wine and cheese I smell? Go back to your limos.
Soar4fun, I agree. The change will involve widespread unemployment when American companies close and workers are permanently laid off. But Third World countries will prosper because that's where our companies will go. Obama will ruin America.

He takes statements from here and from there and puts them together. If he gets elected, he will be lying to the American people just like he lies on his Campaign ads and speeches.
uhh just to tell you youve been manipulated by Obama, he ignores that he doesnt have any experiance bc he knows he doesnt, in 2004 he even said he wasnt ready to run and wasnt going to, he was right then, but he ran anyways, i guess he hopes he can handle the hardest job on earth with out much training, and youve bought into his flip flopping for political gain
Obama fans don't care about experience. Obama is a mesmerizing speaker. Isn't that all that matters? This is the give-me, entertain-me, keep-me-interested generation. They could listen to Obama for hours.
emilm... I have so much respect for you. I love America and pray that McCain*Palin win this election FOR YOU ... and for the rest of us who are "allergic" to socialism.
I own a small business with 12 employees here in Colorado. I tell you this, if Obama wins this election I will close it in December. I'll have no choice. With Obama's insane economic plan I will close while I can on my terms. Thats 12 good folks out of work and without healthcare they have worked for and earned. Lord help us if Obama gets elected and starts his socialist (nearing communist) plan. McCain/Palin's victory will mean I stay in business and continue to employ 12 good folks.
As a business owner myself, I can definitely say this ad is one that is right on the money! I had to cut back on 3 employees because I could not afford the higher taxes and health car subsidies Obama supported. I'm not going to bust my butt making this business pay just to hand it all to the government! The wall street nightmare going on right now is the fruit beginning to ripen after 15 YEARS of Deomcratic control over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! I can't afford anymore of this, CAN YOU?????????
I'm not quite sure where you get 15 years of Democratic control of Fannie & Freddie. The GOP has controlled the WH for the last 8 and Congress for the last 6 of 8. The financial melt down is largely due to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 which removed the vast majority of regulations from financial institutions was drafted by John McCain's senior economic advisor - Phi Gramm. And Senator McCain is proposing a tax on worker's health benefits. None of this is good for American workers.
As a business owner in Michigan I know this ad is a total load of shit.
Republicans love good old Free Trade, Bill Clinton is included in that bunch.
Republicans dont give one turd about making healthcare or energy costs cheaper. They dont care to make anything cheaper, they only care about profits.
Add in the Tax breaks for Corporations that have moved jobs overseas and now you might understand our manufacturing exodus.
Republicans are liars, Privatize profits/Socialize Debt
McCain you are getting more and more despicable. Where the hell do come up with this junk? You are blaming an Illinois senator for outsourced jobs in Michagan!!?? Really??!! McCain, you have sunk below toilet scum on this one. May you rot in hell for your lies.
We just have to wait for Obama to look over McCain's proposals and then come up with something LOL... Or he may just vote "present"... Look at me, I have perfect attendance but never took a test.. hehehe
lolwut? Are we ignoring the fact that we can lower taxes as much as we want and energy costs and companies will still send job overseas because the LABOR is cheaper? That is by far the most expensive aspect of running a large assembly. And looking at how bad the economy is right now, you will not be able to lower taxes by much on the upper class because that takes money away that we desperately need. GL!
Most corporate tax cuts are in place just to keep jobs here... It's the balancing act to high labor costs. Look at Florida, we are giving huge tax cuts for companies to stay here and not move to another state, some think that's wrong BUT WE KEEP THE JOBS HERE! Raising taxes on companies (who would then either pass the cost onto us or export jobs) will simply take money from those who create jobs and give it to those who don't work... That in no way is pro-growth.
IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!!Stupid is not the right word. Ignorant is better. It's based on a verb. Ignorance is "active stupidity" and, credit where it's due, nobody works harder at being stupid than these ignorant fools [McJUSTdoesn'tGETit & Palin]
PLEASE THINK OF OUR FUTURE, AND VOTE FOR PEOPLE WITH TRUE LEADERSHIP!ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!!Stupid is not the right word. Ignorant is better. It's based on a verb. Ignorance is "active stupidity" and, credit where it's due, nobody works harder at being stupid than these ignorant fools.
Actually since the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, many of the regulations that separated commercial banks from investment banks were broken down. That legislation was drafted and moved through Congress by -- wait for it -- Phil Gramm, John McCain's most senior economic advisor. It was the removal of these regulations that has led to the current financial crisis.
I would argue that faulty loans is what led to this situation (a bi-partisan push I'm sure you wouldn't disagree). Then take into account the removal of the uptick rule on stocks, shorting investment banks systematically into the ground, leading to credit downgrades, forcing a company to raise billions overnight, and taking into account mark-to-market, the book value is shot to hell so financing is impossible. Long term the government (we) may actually turn a profit from this situation.
I would generally agree with your analysis. What is most interesting is that it has taken a financial meltdown to bring back bipartisan cooperation. I gather major AIG shareholders are moving to buy the company back so they can realize the profit -- instead of the government. At the end of the day, I think genuine bipartisan cooperation is the best solution (and not vicious name calling -- and please understand I do not mean you).
Heres what McCain has to say about the wonders of market-based health reform:
Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.
McCain promises if we marketize health care, it will perform as well as the financial industry! God Help Us All
De-regulation has worked wonders for the overall financial market. There's a difference between banking and investment banks who over-leverage on worthless loans produced by Dems and Repubs to have the sound bite for campaigns "home ownership increased." Lax oversight is not the fault of the republicans alone. My point, actual banks who took on the shape intended at the time of de-regulation are successful. Investment banking is an unsuccessful business model... Try watching CNBC sometime..
If your real name is Alec Baldwin, you didn't do as promised last Presidential election and you shouldn't talk to your kids that way. I suggest Russia for your move, they have a declining population (everyone who can is getting out...) and they will need socialist slaves when they reinflate the old communist state. "We pretend to work, while you pretend to pay us." Steralize your wife, because no kid wants to grow up in that kind of enviroment or pollution. For you, Im sure you fit in jusz fine.
Democrats crank up what these companies have to pay to hire workers here (via health care, taxes, etc) and then they pretend to be completely baffled when these companies take their jobs to countries where they can get cheap labor.
I think many Dems know what they are doing to ruin America, many of them are Democrat Socialists of America members, part of International Socialists.
Did I mention Charlie Rangle hiding money from the tax man?
When you say Socialists, you mean like nationalizing the banking industry because they were virtually unregulated and took on huge amounts of risk?
The Republicans seem to be more about privatizing the profits of the top 1% of Americans and socializing the costs of Wall Street such that 98% of those pay the costs.
Sorry, trickle down economics has failed. We saw evidence of that failure last week.
Yeah -- I mean why can't we allow slave labor, or sub-poverty wages. Oh that's right, because we're not a backwards-ass country anymore.
Healthcare is a national concern. Republicans want to let you (and you alone) swim with the sharks (insurance companies) in an "open market". Insurance companies are already denying legitimate claims to boost profits. Imagine if they got free reign. Oh, that's right - we got a glimpse of the potential results from the banking industry.
Increase wages and your company becomes less competitive globally. Tax major corporations and you think they won't pass that cost onto consumers, decreasing your purchasing power? Let's give 95% of Americans a "tax break" even though 40% don't pay taxes to begin with... You can't have it both ways. There will always be victims of a free market, but weigh the options and stop looking for a "quick fix" or handout... Name one country that has a better system & explain how WE are still THE country
One country that has a better system is Ireland. They have a high quality national health care system (that also has a private component) and a very low corporate tax rate. In addition they have an excellent educational system. The combination takes back-breaking health care costs of businesses, provides well trained workers and has a low corporate tax rate. It is a powerful combination and has made Ireland one of the most competitive countries in the world.
Interesting you don't hear people swarming to risk their life to evade socialist governments to live in Ireland. I do admit, Ireland is a beautiful place (been there twice), it has a significant amount of growth ahead, and I wouldn't necessarily give it first world status, so to me there's no direct comparison. Population differences make much of what they do impossible on a larger scale. It's the same as any company, the larger you are the more overhead and lack of coordination exists...
Liar Liar Pants on Fire. McBush it was your party who oversaw the destruction of us manufacturing jobs. Your the one who believes in free markets and was against healthcare reform. i hope you die a very painful death your so evil now.
Why is this not being emphasized by the McCain campaign? Obama wants to give out welfare in a "tax break" to 95% of Americans, 40% who don't pay taxes at all, yet wants to increase taxes on corporations? Do you seriously think that corporations won't pass the added cost onto consumers, weakening your purchasing power? Oh, but who cares if we become significantly less competitive in the GLOBAL economy we are a part of resulting in even more job loss, Obama will give a rebate check... YAY! :/
And democrats preach tolerance, yet as soon as someone disagrees with you, they are ignorant pigs. No, I went to one of the top 10 major universities in the nation. As long as you know your topics, I will never call you an ignorant pig, because unlike you I believe we can all have different opinions (that's why we vote).. I don't believe we need a socialist society, if you do consider looking at socialist societies and what they produce...
I agree about the name calling (that goes for those talking about "elitism" as though being good at something makes you bad).
I also think there is a balance. We are a mix of socialism and capitalism. Pure capitalism is all about profit at all costs and would likely lead to slavery, indentured servitude and the like because there would be no social contract. Money cannot be the *only* thing driving our society or we will collapse.
The oil prices are dropping because a) the prices were so high the production was increased (higher supply), but by the time this oil was ready to reach the market, recession had already begun, causing demand to drop. Despite all the fumes and fairy-dust of Election season, governments have very little effect on the present day economy. Whether it should have is up for debate.
I think this must be a McMansion moment. Has he simply forgotten who has had the Presidency for the last 8 years? I'm John McCain and I can not remember this message.
Isn't Obama supposed to be increasing taxes on companies that ship jobs overseas to deter them from doing it?
I think it's funny how they are just trying to scare people into voting for McCain. Desperate measures. And I love how you stole "change" and "more of the same" from Obama's campaign since it was working so well against you. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
(And yes I check out posts from McCain as well as Obama, it helps me educate myself on the two candidates)
Where is your plan McLame. These ads suck. You give no details on your health plan. Why, it sucks. Women voters need to look close at it. Real close. No Mammograms. OBGYN visits? Look close at his plan, that is why there are no details in his ads,
Another LIE from John McCain and the Bush administration. Jobs are shipped overseas using incentive programs under Bush and by corporate greed. Sending work to 3rd world countries where corporations can make up for poor management by paying pennies an hour for labor while reaping large bonuses for the CEO's. Look how it hurt our economy!
FAKE? I LOST MY JOB OF 9 YEARS IN MICH AUTO COMPANY BECAUSE OF LIBERALISM IN LATE 1970's. NOW HAPPENING AGAIN. SAVE WHAT WE HAVE LEFT, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH JOHN.
Yeah! Fake! Because it doesn't past the smell test!
It was John McCain and his neocon allies that paved the way for jobs out of Detroit by giving everyone who brought jobs overseas a big, fat tax break! It was suppose to make America competitive in the global market, but all it did was take jobs out of American hands and give it to the communist Chinese. Thats your Manchurian Candidate for you!
Its no surprise then that McCain blames Obama for their failed Conservative policies!
Perhaps you should go to CNN or BSNBC to feel more at home. Besides, you will fit in better over there.
Isn't it cool that Libs can't blog or poll their way out of the Bradley effect. It scares them to death--and it should because it's real. Even up by five it's a dead heat.
Ha! I cannot wait for the Bradley effect to hit! Obama is an empty suit for the Execs of Fannie and Freddie. And with a running mate like Joe "Patriotic" biden, we can't lose!
Ohio and Penn. showed the Bradley effect is in play. Sad thing is that Hillary knew it.
Have fun you squirmy little libs. You are going to need Kleenex!
...And yet, John McCains Campaign manager was a lobbyist and former executive of "Fannie and Freddie" (sic), and so were there other of McCains top campaign advisors.
You know what they say about people who throw stone while living in 9 class houses...
And yes,the Constitution. Let's see, Bush as CIC declares war in Iraq under false pretenses, and then calls it unpatrotic to not continue to fund it. Where's that Beijing ATM card again?
I'd love to hear of just one instance where Bush used his veto power to stop the earmark of just one Republican cohort. Please, 8 years...there's gotta be at least one right? To save some google time...the truth is no, never, zero, zip.
I used to be a fan of John McCain. I wanted him to be president in 2000. I visited the Hanoi Hilton and the site where his plane went down when I was in vietnam last year. But I never thought he'd sell himself out to all the lobbyists and special interests he used to stand up to. He's a Rove Republican Now and it's just sad. Where has all this de-regulation gotten us? I'm converting my dollars to pesos.
Keeping taxes is low is key to keeping jobs here in the U.S. The more businesses are taxed, the more their incentive to move to some Third World country to survive. What good will Obama's small tax cut to lower-income workers do if these workers are laid off? Vote McCain/Palin to help keep jobs here in America!
Gotta love this. 3 months ago the McCain/Bush message was...Obama has zero experience. Fast forward and we're to believe that he's to blame for things like free-trade, NAFTA, and more importantly jobs going over seas?!? 8 years of tax cuts has left us with a war we can't afford, bail-outs of billionaire banks, and collapsing bridges. We need a revolution. We need Obama.
Hmm. The biggest tax cuts in history hace coincided with the largest shipments of jobs overseas in history under the rove republicans. No, I don't think more of the same tired old tactics are going to work, quite honestly. I think tax credits for keeping jobs in america is a good idea. I think funding education and investing in science and technology will give americans an edge in a global economy and I no longer believe John McCain is ready to Lead. Not after the Circus Show he's been running
We haven't build a refinery in 30 years!! When someone says something like "well, it will take years before we see any oil", all I can say to that is HOW MANY DAMN YEARS ARE WE GOING TO SAY THAT? Obama is an empty suit. Please vote McCain.
That's a great point. Maybe we should ask someone whose been in the good ol' boy Washington network for 26 of those years...er...oops. We need a revolution. We need Obama.
Let's see...8 years of Bush/McCain policies...massive tax cuts during those 8 years...and what a second...businesses are still going over seas? WTF, eh? Maybe this whole "trickle-down-economics" thing should have died with the Reagan administration.
Bit of a slippery slope. I'm not sure one can argue that tax cuts are the root cause for "a war we can't afford, bail-outs of billionaire banks, and collapsing bridges."
It is my belief that the Constution gives the purse strings to Congress and not to the Executive.
At a time of necessary military financing in a post 9/11 world,Bush/McCain offer us tax cuts. A trillion $ war where we have to borrow from China to pay for a war in Iraq.Sad. Bail-outs of banks using $ that Bush/McCain must borrow from China.Sad. Having to move borrowed $ from our general fund to finance a bankrupt Bush/McCain trans. fund. Pathetic.
No, no, no. You mean send that memo to Republicans like John McCain who gave big tax breaks to Michigan industry if they took the jobs overseas. Yeah, John McCain who helps his communist masters by moving jobs into their hands.
What an awesome ad! I was a former Hillary supporter and was going to vote for Obama but I'm getting more and more impressed with McCain/Palin each day. I am switching my vote to McCain/Palin. This Obama guy is an idiot.
A number of people around here don't seem to realize their arguments are not logical. I wish more Americans would consider how they come up with an argument rather than focusing on using logical fallacies to prove their principles.
Obama scares me. He is a puppet for the DNC. He owes the Unions and all the Special Interests so much that he will be their puppet as well Can anyone here imagine an Obama administration? I am scared, very scared indeed.
McCain/Palin 2008, the only choice, the right choice.
I agree Obama does not want jobs to leave but many of his decisions have not helped the US job situation. That is what this points out. What decisions do you think Obama has done to help US companies create more jobs?
Thanks for that carwalkrj. I was wondering when the typical John McCain supporter might chime in. You've shown your true colors, you must be proud. God Bless America.
Only the gun-toting, beer-swilling, bible-thumping idiots will believe this ad. The republicans had the last eight years to mess this country up, we can not stand another four years of the same crap. Look at our country!!! Why in the world would anyone choose another republican for President?! Wake up people -- THINK for yourselves; stop regurgitating all the republican propaganda and do just a little research on the FACTS.

mrbenz7 3 years ago 4
I'm not quite sure where you get 15 years of Democratic control of Fannie & Freddie. The GOP has controlled the WH for the last 8 and Congress for the last 6 of 8. The financial melt down is largely due to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999 which removed the vast majority of regulations from financial institutions was drafted by John McCain's senior economic advisor - Phi Gramm. And Senator McCain is proposing a tax on worker's health benefits. None of this is good for American workers.

GL!
ezsharedock 3 years ago
Most corporate tax cuts are in place just to keep jobs here... It's the balancing act to high labor costs. Look at Florida, we are giving huge tax cuts for companies to stay here and not move to another state, some think that's wrong BUT WE KEEP THE JOBS HERE! Raising taxes on companies (who would then either pass the cost onto us or export jobs) will simply take money from those who create jobs and give it to those who don't work... That in no way is pro-growth.

NaijaRoyal007 3 years ago
Actually since the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999, many of the regulations that separated commercial banks from investment banks were broken down. That legislation was drafted and moved through Congress by -- wait for it -- Phil Gramm, John McCain's most senior economic advisor. It was the removal of these regulations that has led to the current financial crisis.
strtfocus 3 years ago
I would argue that faulty loans is what led to this situation (a bi-partisan push I'm sure you wouldn't disagree). Then take into account the removal of the uptick rule on stocks, shorting investment banks systematically into the ground, leading to credit downgrades, forcing a company to raise billions overnight, and taking into account mark-to-market, the book value is shot to hell so financing is impossible. Long term the government (we) may actually turn a profit from this situation.
bobthecavalier 3 years ago

God Help Us All
strtfocus 3 years ago
De-regulation has worked wonders for the overall financial market. There's a difference between banking and investment banks who over-leverage on worthless loans produced by Dems and Repubs to have the sound bite for campaigns "home ownership increased." Lax oversight is not the fault of the republicans alone. My point, actual banks who took on the shape intended at the time of de-regulation are successful. Investment banking is an unsuccessful business model... Try watching CNBC sometime..

Did I mention Charlie Rangle hiding money from the tax man?
mykol13v 3 years ago
When you say Socialists, you mean like nationalizing the banking industry because they were virtually unregulated and took on huge amounts of risk?
The Republicans seem to be more about privatizing the profits of the top 1% of Americans and socializing the costs of Wall Street such that 98% of those pay the costs.
Sorry, trickle down economics has failed. We saw evidence of that failure last week.
Medazzalander 3 years ago
Yeah -- I mean why can't we allow slave labor, or sub-poverty wages. Oh that's right, because we're not a backwards-ass country anymore.
Healthcare is a national concern. Republicans want to let you (and you alone) swim with the sharks (insurance companies) in an "open market". Insurance companies are already denying legitimate claims to boost profits. Imagine if they got free reign. Oh, that's right - we got a glimpse of the potential results from the banking industry.
Medazzalander 3 years ago
Increase wages and your company becomes less competitive globally. Tax major corporations and you think they won't pass that cost onto consumers, decreasing your purchasing power? Let's give 95% of Americans a "tax break" even though 40% don't pay taxes to begin with... You can't have it both ways. There will always be victims of a free market, but weigh the options and stop looking for a "quick fix" or handout... Name one country that has a better system & explain how WE are still THE country
bobthecavalier 3 years ago
One country that has a better system is Ireland. They have a high quality national health care system (that also has a private component) and a very low corporate tax rate. In addition they have an excellent educational system. The combination takes back-breaking health care costs of businesses, provides well trained workers and has a low corporate tax rate. It is a powerful combination and has made Ireland one of the most competitive countries in the world.
strtfocus 3 years ago
Interesting you don't hear people swarming to risk their life to evade socialist governments to live in Ireland. I do admit, Ireland is a beautiful place (been there twice), it has a significant amount of growth ahead, and I wouldn't necessarily give it first world status, so to me there's no direct comparison. Population differences make much of what they do impossible on a larger scale. It's the same as any company, the larger you are the more overhead and lack of coordination exists...

Do you seriously think that corporations won't pass the added cost onto consumers, weakening your purchasing power? I agree about the name calling (that goes for those talking about "elitism" as though being good at something makes you bad).
I also think there is a balance. We are a mix of socialism and capitalism. Money cannot be the *only* thing driving our society or we will collapse.

OMG, you mean when you tax the living crap out of businesses they move over seas???
Someone send Barack & Pelosi the friggin memo!
4jacksFort 3 years ago
Let's see...8 years of Bush/McCain policies...massive tax cuts during those 8 years...and what a second...businesses are still going over seas? WTF, eh? Maybe this whole "trickle-down-economics" thing should have died with the Reagan administration.

shortsongs, can you do anything but lie?
ReuWil 3 years ago
"8 years of tax cuts has left us with a war we can't afford, bail-outs of billionaire banks, and collapsing bridges."
ReuWil...guess I fail to see which part of that statement is a lie?
shortsongs 3 years ago
Bit of a slippery slope. I'm not sure one can argue that tax cuts are the root cause for "a war we can't afford, bail-outs of billionaire banks, and collapsing bridges."
It is my belief that the Constution gives the purse strings to Congress and not to the Executive.

At a time of necessary military financing in a post 9/11 world,Bush/McCain offer us tax cuts. A trillion $ war where we have to borrow from China to pay for a war in Iraq.Sad. Bail-outs of banks using $ that Bush/McCain must borrow from China.Sad. Having to move borrowed $ from our general fund to finance a bankrupt Bush/McCain trans. fund. Pathetic.

Really, Ad Hominem?

Guilt by Association is not the formation of a logical argument.
Varnuke 3 years ago
No, no, no. You mean send that memo to Republicans like John McCain who gave big tax breaks to Michigan industry if they took the jobs overseas. Yeah, John McCain who helps his communist masters by moving jobs into their hands.
jackdeath 3 years ago
No, no, no. it's the magical liberal dragon fairies from the land of Zaflog that took our jobs overseas... Those darn Liberals.
I figure if you can make up random crap, then I can too. It's politics right!

What an awesome ad! I was a former Hillary supporter and was going to vote for Obama but I'm getting more and more impressed with McCain/Palin each day. I am switching my vote to McCain/Palin. This Obama guy is an idiot.
sammybaldwinjr 3 years ago
That's a disappointment.

A number of people around here don't seem to realize their arguments are not logical. I wish more Americans would consider how they come up with an argument rather than focusing on using logical fallacies to prove their principles.

Great ad! Keep putting them out there, McCain camp! Show Obama for the lying liberal, empty suit, Chicago Democrat hack politician that he is!

Obama scares me. He is a puppet for the DNC. He owes the Unions and all the Special Interests so much that he will be their puppet as well Can anyone here imagine an Obama administration? I am scared, very scared indeed.
McCain/Palin 2008, the only choice, the right choice.
happyhappyjoyjoy2008 3 years ago
Obama does not want jobs to go over seas. McCain does.
obamaalltheway89 3 years ago
I agree Obama does not want jobs to leave but many of his decisions have not helped the US job situation. That is what this points out. What decisions do you think Obama has done to help US companies create more jobs?
CIDaily 3 years ago 2
TOO LATE MCCAIN... I made my decision ... you just lost 1000 Republicans in my area... LIAR!!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 08 and YES WE CAN 12!!!
