What Hi Tech cams are you using? Stage one or two? I have the stage 2 and everyone keeps telling me I need to swap them for stock or turbo grinds before I put the on 3 kit on. I made 460hp with them and a s-trim.
With the 5.0 kit, are you required to get tubular kmember and a-arms, along with coilovers? I just bought a kit for my SN95, and it's going in in spring.
Well for the turbo kit I payed 1800, then you need new injectors $250, calibrated MAF $300 a walbro 255 fuel pump $115, tubular k member $250, tubular a arms $200, and a coil over conversion kit with caster camber plates $325. Total of $3240 although I needed a tune as well and that was another 400.
If you shop around you can save a lot of cash. Those are close to the retail prices for the parts. I only paid retail for a few thngs. Shop around, buy used, it will save you tons.

I was using the stage 2 NA cams from hi tech. I made 460 on 10 psi. With turbo cams I'm sure I'll make more. Just haven't had it dynoed yet.

This video was at 10 psi, with Hi Tech NA cams, Accufab TB/Plenum and thats all I had done to the engine.

At the time I was running 3.73s in the rear. However I've swapped them out since the video because I was running out of gear in the 1/4 mile.
