Specter Played a Key Role in Opposing HillaryCare

The Obama health care plan is much more moderate than the Clinton health care plan was. So it isn't neccesarily inconsistent for Specter to be supporting Obama on this issue.

Thanks, CRENpolitics. I saw Specter at a McCain rally right before the election. There wasn't any indication that he was unhappy with his party. He spoke with confidence about his values, beliefs and positions. So the questions is, how do you know when he is lying or speaking from his heart? I don't think he even knows in what he believes anymore.

Why should we trust anything Specter says? He didn't think twice about changing sides in order to milk his remaining years in the senate . The only person Specter cares about his himself, not Americans and certainly not Pennsylvanians.
