And I'm pissed... I don't drift. I've had my car for four years, before I even knew what a ka was let alone d1. Actually I love amp enrgy drinks and the gummi worm flavored full throttles are delish too. pc homie go back to saying your buddy this and your friend that and I changed a battery once lada lada.
Thats in a year and 2 months too. WOW you got a problem old man. My analysis is you sit on your fat ass gulping soda and pizza 8hrs a night and argue about this you know nothing of. I feel sorry for you gaynovaiweigh680lbs
Yeah to sum it up. KA engines can be found for free. I know, I have 3 of them. So cost wise, You have to pay at least $2000 for the SR before you even get into the internal build. It just seems like a waste. I have seen 800hp+ SR's so I know it can be done, however, 2.4L is a larger displacement and can get there a lot easier and cheaper. SR's can be bored to 2.2 max correct? The physics will always favor displacement if all other components are the same. I have the same v3 cams :)
Thats them and thats a v8 which is much more balanced than I4. Not to mention YOUR TALKING ABOUT NASCAR!!!!!!! Engines that cost 10s of thousands of dollars. Then you claim 10k on a stock crank at that. This nonsense you speak screams to me you've never even did an oil change let alone built a ka fucking fanboy.
I have spoke nothing of him. The car is nice and have seen the threads on it on ka-t. Great numbers. I'm saying you know nothing of a ka. Thats not pissed thats making sure you can read it. Point being on a stock half balanced crank 10k rpm is not feasible w/o spitting bearing and rods everywhere. I'm not debating this with you any longer because you too ignorant to see the facts.

its probably cost him twice as much to get that power out of the KA as it would an SR. And SR20s are meant for boost, so with bolt ons, and proper tune you can make good power. KAs require forged everything to boost to an SRs potential
that paticular KA24de has stock internals? and i never said you could boost an SR20 safely to 844rwhp with just bolt ons, i was saying they are more suit able for turbo builds with minor bolt ons. where as the KA usually requires forged internals to reach over 280rwhp (and thats with a motor rebuild), and even then you have a large chance of something mechanically catastrophic occuring.
it seems the only thing you know about is "bolt ons".
arias forged pistons cost 500 dollars. a KA with forged pistons can take about all the abuse you could dish out with "bolt ons" and i don't know of any running SR engines for $500. Q.E.D. the ka is cheaper if you don't mind getting your hands dirty.
i could buy a shitty t25 setup for my ka, it'd be faster and cheaper than a stock SR.
And don't be nieve... any fucking car with 844hp is going to have aftermarket internals.

I own/build ka's and love them but i call horseshit on 10k. It will never happen in a ka w/o destroking it and a perfectly balance rotating assembly.

Agile3100, you sir are a dumb fuck. The KA is always going to make more hp per psi more than the SR forged or not.
At over 400whp, the SR isn't all that reliable on stock internals anymore, trust me, i've had 3 of em.

Sick. Im glad people start to see the KA is better than an SR.

umm 844rwhp. please show me a SR with factory internals and 844rwhp, otherwise your argument has no validity.

You have it all wrong man, a KA has dyno'd on stock internals and made 532rwhp.

@TXs14 yeah and that motor blew within a month... i'm a huge ka fan but even i am not stupid enough to argue for a stock motor w/o forged internals.
