  • They need to become extreme couponers...

  • Thank you for all that you do for others. I really like the cheese grater the children used to make the shredded soap. Does you site carry this hand cheese mill, or would you please advise me how I may purchase this product.

Thank you and God Bless you all !

  • so this Aldi place has lower overhead because they don't actually stock the shelves they just stack the cartons on top of eachother ?

  • if not for this they would probably spend hundreds a week on just laundry soap,

  • its called buy used save the difference!!!

  • Do u guys know they get paid per episode like 20 to 30 grand an episode thats why they are not in debt

  • @hashamhk not that much or they would be living in Beverly hills not a little town in Arkansas

  • @09ecw101 trust me i know i checked online and if they moved to Beverly Hills they would lose a lot of there viewers but i would not mind watching they could rename the show Keeping with the Duggars

  • @hashamhk They were debt free before TLC ever started filming their family. They have tons of rental properties and they also rent out the cell phone tower which Jim Bob said brings in a ton of money. Also, they save up for what they want to buy rather than spending it all up front and then paying off a loan.

  • what's borax?

  • How is it possible you are debt free with so many kids? Got that people? The family has house, car, appliances, 19people in the family and are debt free. Obviously smarter that the average American.

  • I cant wait to make this, I am trying to save money in every way I can so we can stay out of debt and not go into it, we just paid off our 2 credit cards with our incom tax this last year and now we dont have any of them. we just have his bank account card and we use that. but i also use coupons to save money that way also=)

  • Oh and they were debt free long before the show started. Again - get the facts straight!

  • Wow - think before you type. If you watch the show at all you would know that the girls are allowed to go to college. They give every child the choice!

  • how do you go debt free? You have 15+ kids, make a show out of them and forbid the girls to attend college, that's how.

  • We make our own laundry soap too but easyer

  • yeah try filming a family ....not so well to do !!!.....stainless steel kitchen,,,please

  • they use fels naptha. this is my favorite reality show on tv. lovely, hardworking people who've been kindly taught, and so are kind themselves. my own beautiful mother raised us frugaly, out of necessity, and kindly, as that was how she was raised, thank God! btw, about shopping at 2nd hand stores: u can get good quality items there if ur careful, & have a lot of fun in the process! one summer 3 girls in my family shared 9 darling summer dresses, & the cost? $9 + tax for the whole batch!! : )

  • I LOVE ALDI. Well maybe not the clothes but I love the food!

  • Why do they go to nasty ass aldi. the boys tuck in the shirts and wear work boots ew. why dont they be normal and wear skinny jeans and have skater shoes like tge kids today. whts with the jean skirts ?

  • @1adagio Aldi isnt nasty! Well not all of them.. I live in northern NY now and the one I go to is nice.. but, i am originall from Kansas and the ones there are gross! As far as the way the dress.. Thats just how they roll I guess lol.. I dont think they could pull off skinny jeans anyway

  • So she's saying that its not a right for children to be able to play? Wow I thought it was every childs right to be able to have fun and play every once in a while.

  • haha at 5:18

thanks for posting i don't get this channel at home so i watch all the episode's on youtube :D

  • what type bar soap did they use?

  • @brokendolltoplaywith fels naptha...a lot of times you can find it in walmart.

  • @cmoursler3 ops thank you :)

  • i LLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS SHOW

  • i LLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS SHOW

  • I have a lot of problems with the Duggars religious beliefs but to know that they aren't materialistic and into raunch and bling like the rest of the USA is breath of fresh air. Most of us will never be as happy as them because we can't free ourselves from the compulsive need to keep up with our peers and neighbors.

  • omg! theres aldi's in the us! spend a little, live a lot, no wonder!! haha!

  • a comparison between large families in the US and in the UK - im english and im ashamed of some people - duggars 17 kids UK some people have 12 kids duggars debt free UK on benefits duggars not much tv and computer UK upset if they only have one nintendo wii. duggars built their own house UK upset if the the general hardworking taxpaying public prevent them from moving into a bigger house that the working people cant afford duggars have jobs UK dont duggars nice friendly people

  • @PEACHES1576 UK benefits cheats. were not all like that but this is the difference between large families in the US and most large families in the UK

  • I wonder if they use coupons? They could save alot of money that way!

  • @couponmaniac I always wondered that myself.

  • "....now THIS is a typical American family." LMAO Jim Bob!

  • IN COSTCO MY DAD HAS 1 CART AND ABOUT 430 DOLLARS

IN COSTCO MY STEP MOM HAS 1 CART 1OO DOLLARS

    MY BROTHER IS ALL JUNK

MY LIL BROTHER IS ALL CANDY AND TOYS

MY BIG SIS IS MORE SALAD AND MAKEUP

ME IM ALL FOOD THAT I LIKE LIKE FOOD THAT U PUT IN THE MICROWAVE SO I DONT HAVE TO BOTHER ANYONE

  • Amen to the debt question. My husband and I, the only debts we have are a couple thousand for our van, and a veterinary credit card that's maxed out. Our home is paid for. We paid $9,500 for our mobile home. We also hardly ever buy new. We just don't need anything new. It's nice, but realistically, people who have to have nice things to be happy just aren't happy. Period.

  • @godsfiddler Forgot to add we got the van about 2 years ago, and it was $10,000. It only took us a little over a year to pay off our house. We just didn't want to always be in debt.

  • I dont like how the older girls u see usually at the stove and in the kitchen and doing the work and i wonder where is jimbob and michelle at that time??what r they doing???

  • @first2middle Other important things, perhaps? I'm from Quebec, where for generations, families were huge and older siblings pitched in like the Duggars. It was not child abuse, and the Duggar girls helping out at home is not child abuse either.

  • @frickinmatchbox I completely agree with you... My family was from 5 & 6 kids ONLY (5 from dad side, 6 from mom) - both Catholic and from Quebec. We'd also have to take in consideration that by the age of 13, 14... boys left the home (in MY family's case anyway) to go out and work. The girls helped in raising the rest of the family (my great-grandmother had 23 pregnancies, 19 survived)... Hats off to the Duggars for getting their sh*t together and staying united, by living frugally!

  • @frickinmatchbox I agree, it's definately NOT child abuse. It's called LOVE and loving the family you have! It's natural for young girls to WANT to be little mommies & helpers. I know how this family feels. We have 6 and people give us weird looks all the time. Especially when I hand over $500 cash every week at the grocery store.

  • @first2middle Making more babies?

  • i dont have the issues with the soap making

but buying used shoes i do.

  • I made this recipe from the Duggar sire, but it never set up.. what did I do wrong??

  • @rosuabsc It doesn't become SOLID (the liquid one) it just gets lumpy at the top.... Dip enough out to fill your jug and then fill with water and shake WELL. And every time you use it shake the bottle 2-3 times.... We've been using it since they originally aired this show on TV and it works GREAT !!!!
