You did this by ear, so I'm going to have to learn the piano part by ear too. I love this song so much, and to learn to play this exact version would be fantastic. I've perfected the 1 minute clips I have come across, and play it in a higher octave once that's over just to add a little length to the song. If I could get this 3:57 version sorted, that would be amazing for our college show that we put on at the end of the year.

I love the beautiful sound that these songs give, but I also love the tension caused when a more upbeat song is played.

It's funny how Halo changed my life, but other people think of Halo as "just another game".

For instance, I will feel seriously offended by strong supporters of games like Call of Duty, or Battlefield saying that the game lacks stuff.

Out of the various Halo games I've played (all except Wars, though I did enjoy the demo) ... I feel my favorite would have to be ODST. I feel like the story was a bit light, and the characters were a bit simple, but they were just "fun" to watch in a way that was so much more than the sum of its parts. The nighttime segments of the game had a gorgeous unspoken narrative that did with simple atmosphere and music what Bioware does with exposition. Loved New Mombasa.
