Hi Malcolm, Curious about an aspect of Christianity.
When God made Adam in his own image he said he breathed the Ruah (Spirit) into Adam's body (the dust of the earth) and man came forth - a soul alive. Since there is no life without the Spirit then when Adam was called a "Living Soul" by God it meant he had filled Adam with the Holy Spirit.
So, since Adam the perfect man, sinless and Spirit-filled, chose sin over obedience to God, then how can we sinners be expected to do better?
