I just discovered kraftwerk about a year ago and i want this album so hard! But i can't seem to find a (online) store where the only way to pay isn't creditcard! Since we don't have credit cards and the album 'der katalog' is not anymore available in stores, i'm not able to get this album :(

i live in belgium, can someone please help me??

Everyone, this set is BLOOMIN' awesome. All the tracks sound at least a little improved, especially albums like T.E.E and Computerwelt. I also LOVE the remaster of Techno Pop. Buy the german version, it's so good! I've gotten endless joy from it. Worth every penny.

This video is wonderfully put together, it's like packinging-porn :) I think I wil probably end up buying it myself but I am very disappointed that they haven't gone the extra mile by including a disc with bonus material like Les Mannequins or Dentaku. I'm sure they could have dug something up that even the most hardened Kraftwerk fan doesn't already own.

Danke für das Video sehr gut gemacht, aber mal ehrlich die fotos kannte ich alle schon, und für diese bekannten fotos so viel Geld ausgeben ? Also Herr Ralf & Herr Florian hätten sich aber mehr einfallen lassen können, oder Thank you for the video, but I think the box have not new pictures from the archive, only old stuff, and for this old picture collection paying so much. Great video. I really want that collection. I only own 1 Kraftwerk CD it is The Man-Machine. It perhaps the best album by Kraftwerk. I think it is the best.

Does someone know why some of the old members of Kraftwerk leaved Kraftwerk? I really want to know the truth.

the only excellent remaster is 'The Man-Machine'. but the other albums sound like overcompressed & EQ-ed crap with lots of audio defects. The Mix & Tour De France are the same as '91 & '03

i'd better buy separate CDs '4', '7' and '8' (with new artwork) than this Box

The difrents betwenn the english and the german versions are the lyrics of the songs.. In the german .. German and in the english... English

But i think thats the only diffrents^^

Superb video about that new Kraftwerk boxet ! I bought it as soon as I could find it ! Too bad the cardboard sleeves are not real mini lp replicas (format and artwork). Nevertheless, the package is superb and I can get rid of my cheapo jewel cases.

For those of you worried about scratching the disks, here is my simple suggestion: don't play these CDs! Use only your old CDs/vinyls. Keep those on display, only.

It's a collector set. More a piece of artwork than necessarily the primary source of the KW music you wanna hear.

Well, the albums have been remastered and the sound quality is now dramatically better on the early recordings, so unless you're also buying the individual CD's, you're going to want to listen to the box set albums.

I have all the vinyl editions...but should I buy the CD's with his box, or individually, in a jewelcase ?

Because I don't like the "mini-vinyl card" format, which is too dangerous for the discis (scratch).

Why didn't they put the jewelcase versions in the box ? -_-

Jewelcases may be good for protecting the CD, but they look awful, it's just too bad they became the standard many years ago. The paper sleeves in the box look awesome, but they could have used some sort of inner padding protecting the CD. But doesn't everyone rip the CD's to a lossless digital format first thing out of the box anyway?
