He looks different now.....I remember when I was living in Holland 40 years ago my uncle and my aunty used to play Heintje's songs...Listening to his song makes me miss Holland again........Amazing that he still can sing beautifully.....

Wow, he still has a beautiful voice. I listened to him when I was a child, with my Dad. It was so much fun. I'm from and live in Canada, and he touched my heart and life here. What a beautiful voice.

@Batistaberg Das ist noch alte Schule. Ich möchte die mal sehen und hören, die hier meckern. Das bekommt heute der Superstar kaum noch hin. Singen alle englisch, um der schweren Gesangssprache Deutsch zu umgehen. Heintje war der Pate für jeden Sänger seiner Generation!

Yes, this is Heintje Simons. I remember hearing him back when I was young, My mom has records by him in German and English. I liked him then and still like him now. He still sings beautiful after all these years.

es liegt nicht an Heintje oder seinem Alter; es ist vielmehr die kulturelle-gesellschaftliche Zerfallserscheinung, die eben das blosse Zusammensein (an sich) Fremder zu einem gemeinsamen Zweck (hier: singen) zu einer an sich amorphen, asozialen Veranstaltung macht.

Man schaue sich die Dynamik und die vibrations, aber auch die "natürliche Nähe" zwischen den Menschen in den Filmen vom jungen Heintje an.

Nun wäre zu fragen, wem diese Zerfallserscheinung des Zwischenmenschlichen denn nützt

Das ist wirklich tragisch, dass der Arme immer noch das selbe Zeug singt. Scheint nie über sein Kindertrauma hinwegzukommen. Heidschi ist zwar "nur" ein Schlaflied, aber die Darbietung finde ich grässlich. Irgendwie höre ich immer Kanonen im Hintergrund bei Bumm Bumm.

I remember Heintje from when I was a child living in Germany.

I believe he is actually Dutch and was not allowed to sing in his own country because he was under 16 at the time!

He has a lovely voice now too.

It makes me miss Germany (and my childhood)!

Always loved him as a young child and that hasn't changed. I used to sing these songs to my children and now Grandchildren. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

What a wonderful voice... for the longest time I couldn't find his music... I used to listen to him on the radio in California when I was a little girl and that radio station closed down back in 1989 or 1988 and I was a pain trying to find the music that was on the radio station....anyways.. I am glad I found Hein... wonderful wonderful music
