Mei-Tai high back carry

On the contrary, this is an excellent way to put a squirmy or uncooperative toddler on your back safely. You will just have to hold good tension on the shoulder straps while tying the waist straps (usually by anchoring the shoulder straps between your knees).

i meant on the chair or floor before he goes on my back!!! he will lie still on back no trouble but i couldnt use your method to get him there!!

Oh that's great - looks safer than another high back carry I just saw :) Too bad my DS is too big at 7mo now to try it!
