ive a 2009 civic sedan dx g. and i want halo projector headlights along with angel eye fog lights.. is that a good idea or bad? any feedback would be great. thanks
omg ppl are stupid go look at older esclades and older acura tl's alot of cars have reflective lens not projector its all how u position ur beam i have an 02 cavalier i never get hibeam by anyone i see alot of cars with out projectors with hid's
True. You don't have to have projectors to have a good beam cut off eathier. I had a 2008 Dodge Ram with 6ks in the heads a fogs. I had an awesome beam cut off. I also had lowered my heads just a little to put them more on the ground. I too, never got flashed. I have 6k's in the mail right now from vvme for my 2010 si. I'm hoping the install wont be too bad, but I guess I'll find out in a few days.

HAHAHAHAHA. Do you even know how much light you are losing? At least 70% if not 80%. First problem is having such blue capsules you are losing about 1000 lumen. 4300K are 3200lumen. 8000K is around 2400lumen. That craptastic kit isn't even 6500K. Those have probably color shifted to at least 8000K since they are of crap quality. (The only legal/OEM HID capsules are made by OSRAM or Phillips). Secondly, they aren't even in a projector. Good job.
the aimin to me is just like stock, i made measurements on the wall just to make sure when i installed them...but i think i will do the retrofits later on.
Hey man those H.I.D.'s look sick but what size is the low beam...and what is the size for the high beam? Im planning on buying H.I.D.'s for both beams. Thankx
...and burn up your harness...why would you want to put HIDs in your high beams...no reason to. Even cars that already have HIDs don't have them on their high beams...
What type of head lights is this???

eh, its angled at a stock height..you really gotta look at my car from a corner for it to blind you i think...

I'm sure it'll light up the road ahead of you all right. But if I were driving in front of you, I'd be pissed.
tedkim71 4 years ago
Really Ted, the Civic's lights are so low you probably wouldn't notice. Halogen's on a Tahoe would be the real annoyance, as always.
coastale 3 years ago
the camera really cant capture the real light, but it is alot brighter than stock..
JosueSI 4 years ago
lol hids dont light up the road at all? HIDS are 3x brighter than stock halogen bulbs man
justanotherdoode 4 years ago
HIDs without the projector on the civic. . . anyone flashing their brights at you for that? How is the aiming of the light. .?

i believe that our low beams are 9006...and high beams are 9005...and trust me, they do light up the road alot better than our stock lights :) thanks

Looks kinda cool, but it doesnt look like they light up the road at all.

HIDs run way cooler so dont worry about heat problems, but yeah dont put HIDs in the high, the reflector wont reflect the light correctly
crouching28 4 years ago
not bad.. you should try those HID lights in a foggy day next time ;)
