  • great to know i could brush horses' legs too.. they told me that you could only do that with the soft brush.. :o

  • Have you ever tried a Grooma to cury the horses? I find they do a better job of removing the dead winter hair, dirt, and to spread the natural oils of the skin and coat...It also helps with circulation in the skin and muscles...and does a nice job of relaxing the horses with message, when pressure is used...I find the cury comb/brush, to be harsh, and does not help the sensitive horse to relax....If you have tried it...do you not like it for some reason?

  • and tanner is a really nice horse i wish my horse was that tame and is it bad that i let my horse lick my hands cuz thats how i bond with her and i have let her do it since she was a colt

  • rick you said it is good to have a little fat on the horse and my horse after the winter she is all fat but by the end of the summer she is almost all muscle because i ride her for over and hour everyday so i was wondering if i rode her to much

  • geez, my mare sheds SOOO much! I spent almost an hour just currying all of that hair with a shedding blade and curry! everybody was like "Stop rubbing so hard with the curry!" And i was like "I need this hair OFF of her!" lol, she loves it and leans into the curry and moves her head up and down :)

  • what size is ur curry comb small or large and ur videos are awsome and tanner and buddy a good gelding

  • A horse Dock is 10 but acts 5 so when i was brushing him i had to be a little softer so he wont get spooked, but people do need to relize its okay to be agressive, its not mean its okay.

  • These vids are a big help to me..thanks so much for posting them :)

  • He is just such a VERY HANDSOME HORSE! BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • By the way, at 00:57 did Tanner get scared?

  • @stupidkitten yes he did get spooked, a person walked around a blind corner behind me and came from behind the trailer, so it started him.

  • When I groom I usually use a stiff brush using short strokes to remove dust and loose hair and then a soft brush to remove even more dirt.

  • Wow, i had no idea you could use the curry comb with that kind of pressure, i've always though you had to use it softly, this was informative!

When i've groomed horses before, it looks like they are falling asleep... maybe i know the reason now!

    Tanner is lovely aswell.

  • I love Tanner. :]

  • thats cool i have a plastic curry comb i think ill get myself a rubber one ive always liked those better anyways
