I think you guys should have recorded this. The information is interesting, but to sit through ten minutes of text and stock images switches off the brain. Although thanks for making this vid, I'm a Social Work student but live in England and it was brilliant to learn about the origins of social work in America and contrast how American social work has developed in comparison to British social work. Alot of similarities yet entirely different on so many levels!
This is a video about the history of federal social welfare programs NOT the history of the social work profession.

Wish you'd included audio--lots of good info, but it very unnerving to endure without music, narration, or a note advising there is no audio.
