Man I lived in Montana from 93-99 "I loved it" It is such a great place to live. I am back living in Connecticut right now although I have been looking to moving back. They are on the forefront of green tech. Liberty, Quality of life and looks to me they don't play the media spin game. A+

Also to clear up confusion about Ron Paul appearing on the ballot has the Constitution Party of Montana candidate. The Montana party broke away from the National Party a few years ago. Dr. Paul asked for his name to be removed from the ballot after a lot of pressure from Denny Rehberg, MT's congressman. Ron Paul knew he missed the deadline, so he agreed. This way he saves some face with the GOP and still has ballot access here in MT. The GOP is furious with the Constitution Party of Montana.

I live in Montana and support Ron Paul. It is true all you used to see was Paul signs and a few Obama. In fact I did not see a McCain sign until after the convention. I believe Ron will get around 12%-15%, with Barr at <1%, Nader +/- 2%. This will probably cause a McCain defeat. It is hard to tell because a lot of people like myself, probably would not vote if Ron Paul was not on the ballot. So not all these votes were "old" republican votes.

Boy, does this make me think back to all the media shenanigans to silence Ron Paul back during the primaries--and all the covering up they did on the fact that Ron Paul was winning in all the polls after the first round of Repub debates. Had the media let more of the sleepwalking Americans LEARN about Ron Paul, I imagine he would have beat McCain and all others to be the nominee. The Montana Constitution Party chose to put Ron Paul on the ballot. At that time (Sept.) Ron Paul seemed to have no objection ,but now has requested his name be removed, since it was placed there without his permission. According to state law, though, it may be too late to change it, so his name may remain on the ballot.

Anyone who checks the voting in the Senate, of those three candidates would be nuts if they voted for anyone but Ron. You can tell by their voting record, who cares about the people, and who cares about special interest groups. If Montana is a state where people check to see who to vote for, and do not go on "looks" Ron Paul will take the state. They are so lucky to have a real choice on their ballot.
