Montana is a cool place....It's becoming more educated and concerned about the things today....it used to be a RED state for conservative ideas....but its been alot more BALANCED recently and going to the constitution.
Man I lived in Montana from 93-99 "I loved it" It is such a great place to live. I am back living in Connecticut right now although I have been looking to moving back. They are on the forefront of green tech. Liberty, Quality of life and looks to me they don't play the media spin game. A+
Maybe they should move the "Free State Project" from New Hampshire which nominated McCain in the primaries to Montana. Sounds like a cool state with a lot of "true Mavericks" for the real maverick "Ron Paul."
NO, Ron Paul is NOT writing in Ron Paul. He has endorsed the third party candidates, specifically Chuck Baldwin. If writing in Ron Paul was the best thing to do to promote our message, wouldn't Ron Paul be doing it? Well, he's not. Stop pushing your own agenda and stop taking away from our numbers.
Ron Paul is bringing BJ Lawson to Congress with him next year. They raised 200k on a day when the market continued to implode!
Ron Paul is still sitting on a warchest of $5,000,000. That much money can change the outcome of hundreds, if not thousands, of local and state elections. Especially when combined with an all powerful endorsement and support of the his Army.
Chuck Norris and Jesse Ventura sleep soundly at night because they know Dr. Paul is fighting in Washington to keep them safe.
Also to clear up confusion about Ron Paul appearing on the ballot has the Constitution Party of Montana candidate. The Montana party broke away from the National Party a few years ago. Dr. Paul asked for his name to be removed from the ballot after a lot of pressure from Denny Rehberg, MT's congressman. Ron Paul knew he missed the deadline, so he agreed. This way he saves some face with the GOP and still has ballot access here in MT. The GOP is furious with the Constitution Party of Montana.
Most of the Constitution Party of Montana are Ron Paul supporters. Chuck Baldwin is also popular. I believe they choose the best candidate that represents their view.
Agree the GOP really choose poorly, and the price will be probably be a easy Obama win.
I live in Montana and support Ron Paul. It is true all you used to see was Paul signs and a few Obama. In fact I did not see a McCain sign until after the convention. I believe Ron will get around 12%-15%, with Barr at <1%, Nader +/- 2%. This will probably cause a McCain defeat. It is hard to tell because a lot of people like myself, probably would not vote if Ron Paul was not on the ballot. So not all these votes were "old" republican votes.
dear god, who art in heaven let Ron Paul steal this election from that dick treat Mccain, who's sheep like followers did perpetrate fraud at the WA state convention. amen
If McCain and Obama really cared about the nation and the economy, they would be drop out and defer to Dr. Ron Paul. Unless they are completely deluded, they know they do not know how to fix the economic nightmare; and it is becoming increasingly obvious to them and anyone paying attention that Dr. Paul does.
If McCain and Obama really cared about the nation and the economy, they would be drop out and defer to Dr. Ron Paul. Unless they are completely deluded, they know they do not know how to fix the economy nightmare; and it is becoming increasingly obvious them and anyone paying attention that Dr. Paul does.

I hope McCain enjoyed laughing at Ron Paul during the debates because it wont be a laughing matter when McCain loses Montana because of Ron Paul. Funny how karma works...
Boy, does this make me think back to all the media shenanigans to silence Ron Paul back during the primaries--and all the covering up they did on the fact that Ron Paul was winning in all the polls after the first round of Repub debates. Had the media let more of the sleepwalking Americans LEARN about Ron Paul, I imagine he would have beat McCain and all others to be the nominee. As a matter of fact, it has me wondering how much vote fraud occurred. Crazy and such a shame. Ron Paul's our answer!
The Montana Constitution Party chose to put Ron Paul on the ballot. At that time (Sept.) Ron Paul seemed to have no objection ,but now has requested his name be removed, since it was placed there without his permission. According to state law, though, it may be too late to change it, so his name may remain on the ballot.
wouldn't that be wasting your vote? cuz R.P.s' not running. But maybe not..., because if every person in America voted for Ron Paul(which I believe a lot more people than you think, did)the results i guarantee you would be Obama 80% and 20% undecided. lol
Anyone who checks the voting in the Senate, of those three candidates would be nuts if they voted for anyone but Ron. You can tell by their voting record, who cares about the people, and who cares about special interest groups. If Montana is a state where people check to see who to vote for, and do not go on "looks" Ron Paul will take the state. They are so lucky to have a real choice on their ballot.
Montana to become an Independent state? That is a step in the right direction if the Independents are to gain any ground and be more openly considered. I still would not vote Ron Paul but that is another story.
I live in California, and I wish I could write-in Ron Paul, but if I did, I don't know if it would be counted. Chuck Baldwin isn't on the ballot either... and I'm not voting for Barr, McKinney, Nader, Hussein Obama, and Juan McAmnesty. ;/.

Too many McCain bots there. Impossible. If Paul couldn't get enough support at the Montana GOP State Convention to beat McCain in taking the delegates even though Paul received 2nd place...then no way could your outcome be possible.
