And No, the part of Alaska I used to live in wasn't particularly cold, it was like Seattle (only more rain) because it was down near Ketchikan (Pronounced 'Catch-a-can') where the infamous "bridge to nowhere" was going to be it was actually to connect Ketchikan with it's airport, which had to be on a separate island because Ketchikan's is too steep to build a runway.
