  • in the beginning I always think of the blue danube....

  • a little too fast dont you think??

  • es como una brisa de deleite! its like a piece of such delite! i love it

  • Very, very beautiful. it gives me the goosebumps!

  • They paly with period instruments........They are really perfect...I didn't understand it form the begginig...but in the oboe solo...They are really MASTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mozart = god

  • I simply love the LACK of modern disgusting vibrato! :)

  • The initial oboe makes me close my eyes, almost in pain, as i feel my soul trying to leave my body.

  • you know a piece of music is etheral when you find yourself absolutely immersed in the sound. Finding out over 8 minutes later that you sat there staring at a wall for the whole time. Amazing :)

  • Sublime Mozart.

  • The initial notes of the Oboe always reminds me a crane spreading it's wings about to take flight amongst a flock of seagulls. And like the wings of the crane, this fantastic piece of music lifts my heart high. I really appreciate it Mr. Mozart, where ever you are. Thank you.

  • can anaybody talk about this piece? plese do it something well

  • At :34 in the opening line, I used to have a recording by I don't know which philharmonic which made this much more dissonant sounding. Something's off in this recording, the other one was much better.

  • they are using early instruments here...no where near "perfect" as modern instruments ...

i like the "imperfections" of early instruments hence this channel

  • @PeriodinstrumentfaN And of course, with period instruments, you know what the original score sounded like, how the artist heard it.

  • Thank you for this comment, I totally agree to your opinion .

  • Fantastic and beautiful piece of Mozart.

  • Dioooss¡¡, sublime, adorable, inconmensurable, hermoso, bello, apasionante, exquisito, estremecedor, maldita sea porque no fui poeta

  • Dioooooossss¡¡¡ sublimeeee, arrollador, encantador, inconmensurable, unico, adorable, estremecedor. maldita sea porque no fui poeta.

  • oh yes, u are a poet Srkaustiko... :-)

  • Quite a departure from the superficiality of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, isn't it? Thanks very much for posting this- my favourite piece along with the Clarinet Quintet.

  • Eine Kleine Nachtmusik is in a guise of superficiality, but if you look past its cloak you'll find an a inner depth of musical and expressional complexity unsurpassed in its unity of intelligent thought and seeming 'superficiality'. Great for backround music, but also equally great for the engaged thinker.

  • Wow. I love Mozarts music and love to disect it, but that has got to be one of the most pompus-look-how-smart-I-am-love-me-daddy statements I've ever read.

  • look for Andrew Manze and The English Concert's version of his Nachtmusik... they've revealed the "darker side" of it. :-)

  • duffshot81 - Lol Like you I love Mozart's music and hold it in the highest of regard, so when 'disecting' it I write in the highest regard. I wrote only the whole hearted truth as i see it, why compromise any less of a standard? I could have said "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik sounds cliche, but really isn't" Yet that would have been an injustice and unnecessary restraint of my thoughts on the subject.

  • @duffshot81 Bahahhahaa, spot on and very apt. Its hilarious when you see people put on this intellectual affectation, in reality they've just put a bunch of words together that make so sense, offer no insight, and are utter nonsense.

I hope you don't mind if I plagiarise that turn of phrase, its priceless.

  • The boy in the picture is Wolfgang Mozart? 'cos I never see this picture before...

  • Well it says that it was he. :->

  • You are quite observant

  • Thats accually Stevie Wonder

  • you are the one ....

    thanks man

  • Finally I´ve found this last movement on youtube!!! Thanks a lot PeriodinstrumentfaN for posting this!!!

  • Thuis what I'm looking for since mye visit in Germany last yer:DDDDD

Finally sombody with taste for the period instruments, though it's played a bit too fast, and perhaps in a too small room. Slower and in a great room it would be the very voice of God;)

    Thanks a lot!!!

  • I have another version with Hoeprich on baroque hautboy. It's slower and mellower as opposed to this harsh sounding version but i decided to upload this one instead. :>

  • where can i get an audio copy like cd or whatever?....this is clean and precise. thanks a whole lot for posting this.

  • This must be what the original gran partita sounded like.

  • it's possible ... :->

  • thanks!
