Hi ! I seen a review on here of a Bath&Body candle. The reiew was umm ok. Have you ever heard of a new candle (maybe a year old or so) called "Firewall" something like that? If so, have U tired it? That candels sounds like something I would luv. They have one called Firewall with marshmellows 2 I was told. I'm pretty sure there back for the Fall or Cristmas. Can you PLEASE review those candles? I just found my favorite scent again, for the1st time in 15 years, at B&BW 2 days ago: "Spice"

About 15-18 years ago Victoria's Secret had a holiday room spray called, "Scent of Christmas," that was cinnamon, clove, and orange, & I didn't realize they wouldn't have it again the next year,so I had been looking for it, or a dupe, ever since, until I found the "Spice" candles & Wallflowers at B&BW on Tues.

My tree is fake, because I am allergic to evergreens, plus safer when the cat topples it.

My favorite holiday-themed scented candle is Christmas Cookie by Yankee Candle. Buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies.That you can smell the butter!!!! I love that!

Lol, my favorites for the cooler months are "Leaves" from Slatkin and co. and "Midsummers Night" from Yankee (Weird huh?) Lol it smells like frabreez's winter evening and warmth which is my favorite. it reminds me of dark winter nights and my boyfriend, oddly enough.

What do you think of home fragrance oils? They go on sale for super cheap at The Body Shop and Bath & Body Works, so I own a ton. I love candles too, but I tend to stock up when there are sales, so I mostly own winter-y scents. Totally not complaining about that though!

I love anything pumpkin spice during this time of the year! Yankee Candle has a great one!

you should buy the yankee candle votive candles instead of the tarts because you get more wax for the same price. You just pull out the wick.

Could you explain wax tarts to me? I bought a burner and a couple of wax tarts a few months ago. I pt a tart in, lit the candle underneath, enjoyed it for a few hours, and blew out the candle. I waited for the wax to fully set (maybe a day?) and... I couldn't get the tart to pop out. One butter knife later, my burner had a big gash AND the tart. I ended up throwing the whole thing away. Did I just buy an incredibly bad one, or are you supposed to finish them before moving on to the next?

@kharabgulab If you put the wax (and the dish it's in) in the freezer for half an hour or so, it will pop right out. Or you could dump it out while it's still melted

Hey Irene :) I work at Bath and Body Works and we just got a new candle in! It's called Hot Buttered Rum and it smells AMAZING!! You need to check it out :) Also, my favorite wintery scent is the Fresh Balsam candle. So So So amazing.

i really love the cinnamon slatkin candles. honestly ive never found anything as heavily scented as the slatkin candles or the scented oils that bath and body works sells. there really is no comparison.

I love anything pine/holly/balsam scented for Christmas! A little bit of spice is alright, but I really love the foresty-fireplacey scents the best. Noel by Crabtree & Evelyn is probably my favorite, followed by Sweet Balsam by Skeem, and then Slatkin & Co's Winter. :)

I do love BBW holiday candles. The majority of them smell lovely, especially Evergreen and 'Tis the Season. As for my favorite holiday candle Yankee wins hands-down with their Mistletoe scent. I LURVES IT. I also make sure I have at least two large tumbler back-ups, just in case.

do a cooking vlog :) . candle vlogs are awesome too. daily vlogs , like daily life. i love food scents btw, other scents cause me to get a headache. however, at times vanilla candles smell like playdough and that annoys me. >< need to find a good quality vanilla scent. maybe candles by victoria has one.

I've stuck with Yankee for years. Recently I bought some b&Bw candles. I loved the hot throw and how clean they burned. However, they burned twice as fast as my yankee candles. Have you found this to be true?

Also a special hello from my 10 yo daughter. She just loves you and when I watch your videos she always comes running.

@julykasa I have also noticed how fast the Slatkin candles burned. One of the three-wick candles I burned was completely gone in less than a week or so. =O

Question....I burn candles a lot( yankee and BBW). I also have a kitchen with white cupboards and appliances. I recently had a repairman come and fix my fridge. He asked me if I burnt candles. He knew because there was a "dark" film on the fridge, and inside my cupboards that I didnt notice at first....FROM THE CANDLES.  Have you had that problem? I burn candles but not in excess. Strange.

@rahanson13 I had this same problem. Make sure your always cut the wick. If you let the wick get to long it burns a black smoke. I have completely swayed away from wax and now use soy based.

My favorite BBW candles for the holidays are Winter, Spice and Creamy Nutmeg. I love when I can get the 3 wick candles for half price. I have been burning them every evening. Yum.

that's ok, my mom seems to think that a replica Charlie Brown tree is a replacement for any kind of tree. i haven't had a tree at ALL for 3 years (we didn't have one in FL, none last year, and none this year). It makes me sad/angry. >.<

I know how you feel about buying candles without smelling them first. I really wish there were more candle stores around so there would be more to choose from. Particularly, I wish there were more small family businesses around selling things like that (like Candles By Victoria's storefront in TX). Makes me sad that everything is so commercialized these days.
