  • Hey bro i need some advise im currently working on 2 of this bikes. Video of the projects will be posted soon. What i want to know is i noticed you used original gas tank did you just weld up the corners that need weld? The additional holes @ the bottom of gas tank how did you plug them? did you leave one open for the gas line? & last but not least the 2 bottom screws that hold the gas tank what did you at to them so no gas would speal? Your input would be appriciated.

  • @chinosgv for the gas tank I drilled holes and welded nuts on to them for the gas nozzle to screw into. I welded up the rest of the areas that weren't welded. I cut the gas cap assembly off the gas can that came with the engine. and welded it on to the top of the gas tank where I had cut a hole. I then grinded it down and used bondo to smooth it out before painting.

  • @Edgarbopp Thanks for the responsei really needed an idea an im going to do what you mention altough the engine im using will be small & the gas tank plastic ill find a gas tank that i can cut up. once again thank you for your time ill let you know when i post a vide of my project. ohh i saw the brakes you put on yours i must say good job bro. when i need help again ill bug you LOL..

  • @chinosgv To attach it to the bike again i welded small strips of metal on the bottom of the tank that i could slide hose clamps through to attach it to the bike.

  • @Edgarbopp You sir know what your doing keep up the great job.

  • where did you buy the original bike?

  • @aPurpleLemon53 no store has them that i know of you have to look around & with luck you will find one good luck.

  • とても面白そうです^^

  • driving that bike with no break....dangerous.

  • Very nice bike man! I'm in a process of building a stingray could you please tell me what size sprockets you got on the jack shaft and the back wheel. Because i want to have the power and speed of your bike. Thanks

  • I like your mini choper!

  • What engine is that man?

  • @pprriimmoopro 196cc GX200 clone from harbor freight. =)

  • @Edgarbopp Nicee.. :)

  • JurcoProduction thats why we have banana seats!!!

  • i would just make normal bike brakes on the front wheel but idk if they would over heat the pads going that fast.

  • I have a chopper with a 5 hp Briggs on It I'm 15 and built it my self I can hit 50 on a dirt road with a bald back tire

  • I think you will end without an ass if you slip off that seat, lol

  • What's the motor dude?

  • What is the bike called befor you modified it . i want to do a conversion but carnt find any sutible bikes

  • I took my givorner off an blow my engine

  • dude you shouldve went ridin bare footed ;=)

  • @hemigod2 hahaha my poor feet!

  • Did u take the govner off

  • @stlgp314 yes

  • holy shit! NICE! how much cc it and hp?

  • @mapukmapuk thanks man. 196cc 6.5hp

  • @Edgarbopp hm very nice! can you help me please? how can i know the cc and hp of brigs and straton lawn mower engine that i found? i want to build something like this but i dont know what spockets to put on it and if it could start drive with clutch from 0 kph, or i will need to pull this and sit quickly?! lol idk, i need way to check the power before i put spockets... tnx

  • @mapukmapuk hmmm well if you make a short video showing me your engine i might be able to identify it for you. =)

  • @Edgarbopp my rear wheel is 20 inch, and the spocket on it is 36T, i need to buy clutch from ebay but i dont know how to measure "bore", the 2 clutches that i found on ebay are 11T-[5/8] & 12T-[3/4] - idk what i need for the engine... how do i measuring the "bore"? and i dont know good english - crap... how many HP the engine needs that i could ride it?-(I'm - 55KG). i want to build it looks like a dirt bike, you know the front wheel is biger than the rear wheel... please help and tnx!

  • @mapukmapuk the bore is the shaft size on the engine. 3/4" or 1" just measure it =) good hp is 4-8hp

  • @Edgarbopp i measured it and its 1 inch.. does 5/8 is 1 inch? , if my bore is 1 inch, is it mean that my engine more than 3 HP? and by the way, what size of chain do you use? i got only the size of my bicycles... what the chain number of bicycles? i mean kids BMX/iron mountain bike(not aluminium) .. Tnx!

  • Great job man! That thing looks GREAT. Super COOL!

  • @BlvdMinSS thanks man! =)

  • what motor did u use and where did u get it

  • hey man what was the idear behind removing the decompresser on the cam

  • @loweylegend I was annoyed that the compression release was killing the engine at idle. I wanted a lower Idle RPM.

  • what clutch mechanism did you use for this beast? im working on a similar project and that seems to be more than fast enough.

  • @siTTinLo420 its a "torq-a-verter" kinda expensive but works so well.

  • speed metal jazz

  • haha that back wheel is like an ass grinder =P

  • do you know how fast a 3.5hp/20 go

  • what kind of motor did you put on it. I have the same bike and im trying to find a motor for it.

  • @Rick08Lowmen08 6.5 hp from harbor freight

  • @Edgarbopp the 9 HP hauls ass for a cheap motor

  • @Edgarbopp Your video is my inspiration for doing this, thank you. Im wanting somethin that can go about 45-50mph.

  • @Rick08Lowmen08 this bike was clocked by my friend in his car at 51 mph =)

  • @Edgarbopp Do you know of any website i can order one at?

  • @Edgarbopp Did you eventually put disk brakes on or what?

  • BELLO MA IL MOTORE DI KE CILINDRATA E GRAZIE ??

VA BENE DA 50 CC ??

  • how exactly does your set up work does it have a small trans then a shaft with sproket on each end then a sproket on the main wheel?

  • what size pulleys are you runnin and about how much do yhou think the bike weighs?

  • How wide is the back tire? And how did you fabricate the frame so the back tire would fit?

  • great video mate :) im so happy to see that it actually goes fast unlike other clips on youtube . ride safe

  • @stip27 Thanks =)

  • WOW, thanks for a great video. Great welding and ideas too. Great looking bike!!! Thanks for riding it and showing us how it performs and sounds!!! Where did you get the Veri (what-cha-call-it) that 2 stage centrifugal thingy-mo-bopper that attaches to the engine crank shaft? Sorry I forget what it is called.... :-D Very professional job!!!

  • @Landotter1 its called a torq-a-verter have a look on Ebay =)

  • @Edgarbopp Thanks a lot!!! :-D

  • i can't explain or describe how much ass you kick ! boy, that's amazing. wtf do you do for a living? more importantly, where do you live? i have a bike like that, that i'd like you to build up. come on man! don't hoard all the talent!!

  • what kind of tyre and wheel are you using in the back? I have started building a mini chopper myself but i can't find a tyre and wheel so I can reproduce the chopper look with wide back tyre. What can you suggest as a back tyre? And last but not least how fast does it go?

  • @kilimand21 try going to ebay and typing in mini chopper tire thats how i found this on. its actually a tire that many people use on golf carts and even mini coopers. the bike goes about 50mph =)

  • dude that's a sweet Lil bike man

  • nice bike man :).... i am building a mini chopper my self at the moment, but i am having major problems finding a engine? did u buy a 50cc engine or is it off a lawn mower or some other garden appliance?

  • @tonedgore its a 196cc 6.5 hp engine from Harbor freight. you can get one new for around 100$ if you use a coupon.

  • Hey there! Nice bike =D I also got an Jesse james bike and thinking of doing some mods... and i need you experiances of welding that bike , is it thick enought? Or will i burn trough? :P

    //318

  • @TheAdde318 stick will burn through but if your handy with mig or tig it's fine.

  • @Edgarbopp Okay , thanks for the help :)

  • i will posty the video tomorrow tomorrow i had to do a little modification but its coming along. i made my home made motor mount with angle iron then weldedit to the frame of the bike

  • hey i started my project i couldent find a jesse james bike so i had to go with a occ chopper bike and i think it might actually work i will post video of what im doing in a while but looks like crap right now its in the works though.

  • @andrewstunna awesome can't wait for a vid!

  • what type of welder did you use cuase i got a harbor freight welder 90 amp fluxcore welder and i heard good and bad bout it lookslike you got good welds so i was wounde3ring

  • @andrewstunna hey man sorry i didn't respond sooner. yes good results can be had from a flux core welder. just remember to use a pull not a push motion. it won't look as good as a mig weld but as long as you turn up the amps and wire speed to the point where you get a nice thick deep penetrating weld it will be just as strong.

  • thank you

  • do you mind helping me out

im wating to make the same project also. i just wanted to know what size is the back tire and the with and lenghth of the bottom part of the frame

  • @andrewstunna the back tire is 18" O.D.

  • dude, do you know where i can find a jesse james bike? bc i want to do the same project with my dad . and do you live in MA cause maybe you could give some tips on building it

  • best bet would be Ebay i think. i would be happy to give you guys any info to help with your project. =)

  • Oh man that is too cool where do you live? I will buy that off you PM me PLEASE!!!

  • what is that shaft that allows it to pull the chain to the other side of the wheel? Thats the only part that is stopping me from putting a gx200 on my mini chopper as well?

  • its called a "jack shaft" and it's not to expensive.

  • Lol abs fantastic!

I am in the process of fitting a GX200 clone to my chopper. Cant wait!

  • post a video when you get it running!

  • Sweet build. check out my mini here on youtube. buttafuocos mini chopper

  • Awesome!!

The rear tyre is very very nice!! were does it come from?

No brakes.... No helmet... you're crazy!

  • Hahahahah. i couldn't wait to ride it. i got the tire, rim, hub, sprocket and brakes on Ebay. it's a 205/50-10 golf kart tire.

  • Personally I started mine by making the brakes...

Bad experiences make you become carefull...

  • I won't argue with you about it. =P

  • Paint it pink! With skulls.

  • Awesome! I want to ride it. Dad
