Doesn't it hurt when you do the drop thing where you let yourself slide down the pole a foot or two and then brake to a stop by applying pressure with your legs? Does it generate enough heat in friction (converting your kinetic energy into heat) for you to feel it?

Do you have a similar routine to this one done in a static pole? Some moves done in here cannot be done in a static pole, and vice versa. I only use static poles because I suffer from vertigo.
