@trigun890 lol for a WASR 10? those are the cheapest AK's on the market, they used to be like $329 a few years ago. JGsales has them for like 400 plus shipping, centerfiresystems might have them for the same price, you could get an AK74 for less than 400 or a higher quality 7.62 AK for 500

Please give the names of a few reliable brands, and some rough pricing. I agree totally tho that you can go cheap with other stuff, but with guns, you just cant cut corners on quality.

The quality of the gun depends from the country where it was manufactured. Today still many countries produce AKs with modifications including China. The real AKs are made in Russia, but they are more expensive, and usualy you dont care where it is from, you buy cheper one. Basicaly Diference between real AK made in Russia should be noticed at least over 20000 bulets fired. So i think you wont feel big diference shooting botles in your garden . Cheers

I own a WASR-10. Spend a $150 to $200 more on a good AK. If you can deal with magazine wobble and canted front sights or possibly a canted gas block.

Avoid CAI or Century Arms International AK rifles. All Romanian AKs are built by Century.

Atlantic Firearms has some good ones.

@trigun890 Make sure its MADE IN ROMANIA,not built here in the US ,by CenturyArms..They are totally different quality of rifles...The Romanian Built Guns are built on Russian Tooling so they are much better quality..Just a friendly piece of advice..I have a Romanian Built WASR 10/63 Under-Folder and its the cats meow!
