Does anyone have the full version of this event? Old school UK landmark events, seem to be kept back by a small % of selfish idiots, who just want to hold on and not share the past. A whole generation are missing out on what I believe, were the defining moments in UK hiphop. This shit is almost 25 years old, so surely, if this clip was put together, then their MUST be a full version!!
Yeah Def - remember PSK - from that day on, all i could remember was those reverbed out hats, snares, & kicks going round & round & round !! Producers still sampling em & replaying em to this day - what you can do wit a Roland & Reverb heh!
also cant forget..krew from laylow, rock city crew nottingham, supreme rockers, tdk krew, twilight, non stop,second2none,born to rock(break) and the rest of the old skool uk krews of the 80s just too many to remember.
everybody was there every krew from across the uk represented and flying their colorz.live to break, zulu rockers,smac19,the bboys, brokenglass, sidewinders, zodiac, sidewalk, jedi rockers,
this was real tru real hip hop elements, writing, rappin, djing and breakin, brings back memories of SPATZ,ELECTRIC BALLROOM camden,AFRIKA CENTRE covent,THE LYCEUM..and the LONDON GLC HIPHOP JAM at the jubilee gardens, londons largest ever OPEN AIR LIVE HIPHOP JAM hosted bt tim westwood,
YES yes i remember this event...what sweet memories.!!!..anyone remember the Lyceum gig...Bambataa et al ..Shaw theatre!?!..Spatz too !!! ahh....real b-boys never grow old....we should meet up and battle in covent for old times sake....
Does anyone know where this footage comes from? I'm doing film research for a documentary on dancing in Britain in the 20th C and am keen to include some of this great material. Was it broadcast at all (I can't seem to find it!). Many thanks.

Spatz,37 Oxford Street, Saturday lunchtimes. Dolby took me there and the joint was jumping. Family Quest, guest DJ's and breakers galore. The place was tiny with a very small dancefloor.
