And not only was it cool, it was the right thing to do, because of course, as you said in your NES WOF video, the final spin has to be worth some money. (Can't be worth a prize, Surprize, Double Play, Free Spin, Wild Card or Million Dollar Wedge; the $10K wedge is another story).
No I think they still had it that season because they had that rug in a episode that aired on 9/21/1993, and in the sega cd video game version of Wheel Of Fortune.
I know it's not in this video, but I remember that this was the last season the the "Wheel" rug in the center of the stage, did it stay for all of Season 11 or half of Season 11?
I miss the check arriving in the mail. It's a running gag at my house:
While watching "Wheel" with my best friend, when I solve a puzzle with only 1 or 2 letters (or, worse, from just hearing the category and seeing the pattern of blanks), he'll always say, "You really oughta go on this show!"
Sigh. Would that I could go on again. The numbers are so much bigger now...

She was.

I don't think this episode had a Speed-Up round, did it, Kinravip?
AubreyMan62187 2 years ago
Did Pat Sajak and Deborah look at the Bonus Round Prizes if so how much were they worth besides the Netherlands trip?
dagecco 3 years ago
I also noticed the "Australia" prize and Surprise were removed from the wheel at the end. That was cool (lol) =]

Wasn't the theme from 1989-1992 supposed to be the closing theme during Season 11 except for road shows?
jarvisbrodiea1 3 years ago 2
@jarvisbrodiea1 I think everyone just thought that but it looks to be just random; they played it whenever they wanted.

Where's the "Wheel" rug at the end of that episode, beacause this was the last season to use the rug in the center stage so where is it?
05309193 3 years ago
I believe they stopped doing that at the start of Season 11.

and I forgot to mention the game was released in 1994, just so you know
05309193 3 years ago
Only times they had the rug removed was during New Year's Week in Season 10 as well as the 3-week Red Letter Sweepstakes.
gameshowguy2000 3 years ago
And..if this is 1993-1994 (Season 11), shouldn't the closing theme be the 1989-1992 theme?

$26,640. I'll be reposting a more complete version as soon as I figure out what happened. Stay tuned...

I hadn't noticed that the fourth puzzle was cut off, and Pat saying goodbye to me is also missing.
Weird, as I did NOT edit that out (at least not on purpose). I'll have to repost. Stay tuned...

Didn't Charlie actually said "This is Charlie O'Donnell speaking..." at the end credits one time?
samsticka 3 years ago 2
Yeah, he did during the '95-'96 season.
Aubster06 3 years ago
Funny. I remember him saying that during the 1992-93 season.
samsticka 3 years ago
Oh yeah, Charlie O'Donnell was saying "Merv Griffin Enterprises produces....(drumroll) Wheeeeelllll of Fortune!" during both Season 10 and 11.

Wasn't the 1989-1992 theme supposed to be the closer for all of Season 11?
jarvisbrodiea1 3 years ago
That's what I thought..in fact, they started reviving the theme at mid-Season 10 (like Spring 1993).

The King World Logo is merged to the CBS company.
The1KidsShowFan7 3 years ago
You mean CBS Television Distribution. King World joined CBS in 2000.
ShaDeed329 3 years ago
why'd the end of the 4th round puzzle just cut off like that?
barber747 3 years ago 2
And you also got the full closing credits of the show as well!
05309193 3 years ago
It's nice to see a MGE (Merv Griffin Enterprises) logo an old episode instead of those "ever-popular" Boxes of Boredom (Columbia-TriStar Television).
