In Luke 16:19-31 says there is a great gulf between heaven and hell, and this prevents crossing over from heaven to hell and hell to heaven. Jesus purifies and cleanses us through His death and resurrection. How could the early popes come up with this lie of purgatory? Jesus doesn't purify and cleans us by putting us through some kind of fire in a place called purgatory. Those two guys in Luke 16:19-31 were judged and given a final destination.

Purgatory does not refer to those in hell. If you experience purgatory, you are already saved. Why do you think this is about those in hell who will never be saved?
Certain Protestants, such as C.S. Lewis, have also held to the truth of the doctrine. What do you say to him?

The Lord showed me his days spent in hell, I then must write about his time spent there, I've seen both Death & Hades who are not just a place but an entity, please see my video thank you
