To be honest, with a large crowd protesting, it's almost impossible to predict what will happen. A peaceful protest can easily turn into a violent one, even if perhaps just one or two of the crowd is crossing the line. What the police did was probably one of the best ways to end, but I do think that whoever shot should aim better/understand the situation first, as I knew one of them shot at the crowd who was trying to help the wounded guy.

To be honest, with a large crowd protesting, it's almost impossible to predict what will happen. A peaceful protest can easily turn into a violent one, even if perhaps just one or two of the crowd is crossing the line. What the police did was probably one of the best ways to end, but I do think that whoever shot should aim better/understand the situation first, as I knew one of them shot at the crowd who was trying to help the wounded guy.

Youtube should be a great place to see the fucking idiots we have in America.

@maplespak You're probably right. It's already been proven that Oakland officers have been infiltrating protests. (Search YouTube for "Beware of Police Infiltrators and Provocateurs".) I instantly recognized several of the officers because most of them head to a specific bar & grill (the local "cop bar," which my friends and I have also been going to for years) after they get off work.

The Oakland police department is amateur hour. If they can't take some people venting their frustrations through peaceful protest, then they should look for other job options.
