nice trick but it seems very impractical in the heat of battle. although i guess it could be effective if the opponent has nothing to spot the drop.

you can spam-queue the unload order and it will keep unloading automatically

Does this work for terran medivacs?

@funpoleece Technically yes, but you have to put it in hold position mode, and make sure you never give it a move command. It pretty much doesn't work.

Cant you jsut set a rally point, instead of moving the troops?

@ntntnghia no,it won't let you do that. There might be some other way to make that part easier. I just havn't found it.

by the way, you can do this in either of the warp prism's modes.

@bobdylan23220 yeah, but it's easier to do with it in phase mode, because you have to click directly on the warp prism to unload without it moving. Also, its' easy to select the warp prism when you're boxing your units to move them, because you can't use a hotkey to move your units for this.
