I have a nasty combo of a cold sore + herpetic whitlow on my index finger. Unbelievable. I loathe this disgusting virus! It must be destroyed into oblivion! Why the hell such ghastly thing even exists?

You can kick cold sore easily with following:

1) DermaSeptic Skin Cure - for days 2 - 8+ (get it from amazon.com) You can start using this at soreness stage.

2) Zovirax ( Acyclovir) Cream 5% - Apply 4 times

3) Valacyclovir 500 MG Tab - 3 times a day

4) Lysine Tab - 1 times a day

Please ask your doctor for 2,3, 4 prescriptions.

You can use DermaSeptic if you see soreness, then wait 5 mins, clean your lips again, and apply Zovirax. Make sure you apply 3 days more even sore fades away.

I've had them all my life (THANKS DAD!) and out of everything i've tried, Colgate (regular white - non-blue gel) toothpaste works the best. If you catch it at the tingles or blisters it virtually disappears.

Well this made me feel vaguely better because you are nonchalant about your cold sore. I'm so sick of cold sores, they always happen at the worst time possible, because you are stressed out during those times and stress triggers them.

OTC stuff does not work. I put abreva on it last night before I went to bed when the cold sore was very small, then this morning I wake up and it is 4 times as large and my lower lip is swollen as fuck.

I've been taking lysine every day too - doesn't work.

Good point. The coldsore had healed, the skins was just pink...but you are right, one should not ever touch one's eye/cold sore. But really, we should never put our finger to our eyes. Fingers are dirrrrty.

Hi! The coldsore I had in the video was the worst one I ever got! But I find the trick for avoiding coldsores is to make sure you wipe your mouth after eating and that your lips are clean! Otherwise there will be more bacteria and therefore more chance of coldsores!
