I have never tried with refrigerator pumps, so I just want to ask another question: Do they require some lubrication or have they isolated bearings? A positive thing with those pumps is that they aren't so noisy.
My excellent East-Germanian pump works without any noise. However the original application of this pump is not for high pressure air generating, but it is capable of doing it. Normally use of the pump does not require any lubricant, because the refrigerating fluid plays this role. Since, I have used it as an air compressor, I usually add some (~5 cm3/month) lubricant in it (throught manifold).
Constant air pressure (p~1.5 bar at nozzle, dV/dt=240 Litre air/hour after nozzle (in atmospheric pressure) ) is generated by the excellent East-Germanian refigerator pump.
Oil (WVO) runs onto the nozzle by gravity feed (from red funnel) without preheat.
Thanks for your really practical question! ;) Good luck! :)
how much it costs to make this smokeless burner?

Hello! Nice work, and impressive clean burn. Do you use the refrigerator pump for the oil or the air?

Dear @2550osiosterdalen,
First of all, thanks a lot! :)
