The reason the first note peaks is because you have it set on "auto"...set the gain to low, that way it will always be the lower volume...

When setting gain on "auto" the Q3HD has to adjust the gain. When setting gain to "low" you won't have the "first note issue".

Great playing mate. From what I've seen so far on youtube by the way, the first note always peaks, then it settles.
