Yeah man I just bought a 96 and it is wickedly fast almost to the point where it scares me. I have no problems killing those at the stoplights who don't respect the "stinkin lincoln" oooooh yeah!!!!!!!

i got my 95 with 92k in august and now already has 100k as of 2day and still roasts tires and flies

i got a 96 it sounds and performs the same and man they fly they sound great

i recently got a 97' and love the way when you go full throttle and when it shifts into seconds gear it gives you like a second pull you know what i mean?

yeah in normal driving the tranny is supposed to shift smoothly. its also normal to have firmer shifts when punching it like that.

lol or it could be the IMRC isn't workin smoothly and is snapping open instead of a smooth progression.

i got a 95 continental it hauls but when u stomp it for some reason it sticks for a second in the top of first gear then it kicks hard into second

might be slipping. Mines does that sometimes since its hitting 176K. Do tans flush, It helps alot.

my car only has 77k on it i got it from a relative who used it to drive around st. louis so i know its been driven easy

@musclecar2007 just cuz they drove it in st louis doesnt mean anything unles you know them personally, i bought a 2002 galant with 52k on it and between 52k and 96k what it has now i wouldn say its been driven easy at all, just some insight for you
