  • Obviously they can't put the whole damn poem in there.. They just wanted to get the main points of it so Alice knew what she had to do, (Slay the Jabberwocky) So why is everyone hating? As for as I'm concerned, this movie is worth more then all of you put together. So shut up and enjoy it. And if you hate it, then simply don't watch the damn thing.

  • this is my absolute favorite movie ever!!!

  • I don't care what any1 else says, or if the poem is a little off, Johnny Depp is a pure genius. it's breathtaking how amazing he is,

  • Yea this part was absolute bullshit, loved the movie as a whole, but you can't base a movie off of a poem and then recite it horribly incorrectly. For an acting class in middle school 12 or so odd years ago, I had to recite the entirety of Jabberwocky and my teacher kept making me redo it and redo it until finally I sounded a bit like Depp, dark and ominous and intense. So it really irks me that they totally bastardized Jabberwocky in this movie. Lame.

  • the poem sounds like sex coming from his mouth.

  • *failure

  • Haters gonna hate. And this FUCKING SUCKS!

  • I love that accent. JSt amazing

  • I love the movie... because of Johnny Depp and I love Alice and Wonderland,.. and Tim Burtin... and How wonderfully Mad everything is...

BUT I HATE THE FACT THEY BASED THE WHOLE MOVIE ON MY FAVORITE POEM AND DID A BAD JOB AT IT!! *headdesk headdesk headdesk*

  • This is why Johnny Depp is AWESOME . no question about it

  • His voice is so sexy

  • the frumious bandersnatch?? is that code for a gonorrhoea infected snatch?

  • Depp is one of the best actors ever... and for the poem, it was just adapted to the movie

  • @hplova27 One of? He is the best

  • The poem was not butchered, it was his lines, and they were adapted for the movie.

  • totally messed the poem up.

  • >DramaMajor713

Alice is constantly referred to as a boy by the Mad Hatter in the original Books and in the films :) thats why it says Boy

  • XP how could Jabberwocky be about Alice? She's a girl!! "Come to my arms, my beamish boy!" Boy! It's not about Alice! Unless.. she's a boy? o.o

  • GOOGLE> LOVE SONGS OBAMA SACHEM AREYOUFOREAL

WELL by the time I got finished cleaning up the litter box .... I went out to get PORDGE OUT FROM UNDER THE DECK .....BUT HE WAS GONE ....and I LOOKED ALL OVER and CALLED AND CALLED all the time thinking OH FUCK ....I LOST THE FUCKIN CAT :-(

  • The poem was butchered. The delivery is awful.

  • @sruizmier99 I disagree. He is suppose to be... um, uneven.

  • @zzplralpha that's not the point the point is that he did not stick to the book

  • lol she lost her muchness

  • he totally said it in the wrong order!

  • @VJDJ702 well he is quite mad

  • the wierd thing is wer learning this poem in dutch class and we had like 4 difrent translations for this haha cool eha !!

  • I remember the first time I saw this movie. I freaked out my friends by knowing the poem because in 6th grade my school choir did the song version of "Jabberwocky"; so when the Mad Hatter started reciting the poem, I said it along with him. My friends were looking at me like O.O "I thought you said you never saw this before?" lol :D

  • I love Johnny Depps version of the Mad Hatter

    I LOVE JOHNNY DEPP!!!

  • I wish the entire poem were in the movie, in its original format. It would've been way cooler.

  • You were much more... muchier. You've lost your muchness.

    I LOVE HIM!!! <3

  • My friend Lisa can say this exactly like him. I LOVE JD AND THIS MOVIE!! ~MJ

  • "Wha' was what?" LOVE HIM

  • He has an English accent...when he gets mad it goes Scottish :)

  • @Allohna that sounds pretty kick ass

  • @Allohna when the mad hatter gets mad?

  • He changed his accent. It was English in the previous scene and now it's Scottish.

  • @SamhainTheDark Johnny's portrayal of the hatter's madness involves a sprinkling of multiple personality disorder, combined with post traumatic stress disorder, which was the base cause of his full fledged mental illness. The base Hatter is portrayed with an English accent, while the violent version who later fights along side the chess pieces in the war has a Scottish accent-*,^=

  • @Luckytheshadow Yes, in the three months since I posted that comment, I realized that. lol

  • @SamhainTheDark Cool beans-*,^=

  • @SamhainTheDark He keeps doing it in the movie.
