  • i was interested how to save the transparency of the background as a bmp but in the manner u "explained" it didnt understand anything it was like u were just mocking ppl.

  • useless video, too fast, impossible to follow...

  • It did not look like you even showed how to created a png file with transparency. It look more like you working with a cropped images that already was saved. You also should have reviewed your vid before posting to avoid all those crazy miss spellings and like other said, jumping all over the place. I am not a hater either. It was hard to follow and in the end did not serve the purpose the title had intended.

  • Nice tips.

By the way, do you have any idea what causes an image saved as a .png in photoshop to have a black/ messed up background which disappears when full-sized?

It usually appears when I have one or more layers set to 'multiply', but I've yet to figure out what specifically causes it.

    Thanks in advance.

  • oh yeah thats common on transparent png files, either the web browser you're using doesn't support it. also thumbnail views (like the ones image hosting sites use) don't have transparent backgrounds, it's black to save bandwidth, once in full view it will go transparent. no need to worry...

  • Thanks, that helped me out a lot. I thought something was wrong with my file.

Yeah, I was trying to upload something to Deviantart. The thing is, it didn't use to do that, so I was surprised to see it. My full view image is fine, but the preview image looks pretty ugly. Thanks again, especially for being so quick with the response.
