After all this time can playing can you really complain about these games. Sonic games, even the old ones, were never perfect ( the carnival night stage in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for example). People loved them anyway, and that's how it's always going to be. As an old school fan of the series, I learned to take the bad with the good. I hope that if I wish on enough stars, Sonic team will finally start making good games again. Maybe.

I really liked the werehog stages. I think of them more like the brawling characters stages that '06 never could be for a number of reasons (other than stretchy arms,obviously). Watching some others, run through the stages without doing dash attacks, sweeping/area combos, and the instant finishers, let alone totally neglect to make use of ANYTHING to make things go faster is just getting way too painful to watch. I wished that there was some more shadows, especially in lit areas.

I really hate playing the whole level using the Dash Speed all the way... Personally i think it makes the game wayy too easy and takes away some of the classic experiense!!!

My Opinion, the Dash Speed should have been more limited... A lot More.

@carlos23skype WELL, you COULD play the Wii version, where your speed boosts only run for a few sections per boost and you only have up to 6 boosts in your meter before you run out. Personally I know what you mean and kind of agree. I think it should be more like Sonic Colors or Rush, where you had to work for the boost, and there were more parts where you didn't want to hold down that boost button. (Altitude Limit...nuff said).

These levels refuse to have you sit back and enjoy them. You gotta finish through them as fast as possible. Why? Lack of platforming. Sonic used to be about speed and platforming; a perfect blend. But in this game, it feels like both are completely separated. Werehog stages are nothing but slow platforming and slow combat. Day stages are speed and almost nothing else. This game would've been perfect if they mixed both aspects together. Instead we have a universal hatred for Werehog stages.

SEGA AND DIMPS SCREWED UP THE WII/PS2. The WII could have handled the xbox 360 versions graphics but not in HD aswell as the day stages.
