  • @25yearsofthriller Im also 13 and just ordered the p90x. its ok as long as yoiu dont over do it. you need to have rest and eat! dont think that because your exersizing you need to eat less if anything you need to eat MORE. but healthy food only. like in the nutrician plan they give you. Sorry im not exactualy the person who you would be exspecting to answer. but i hope this helpes :)

  • im 21..only 4'11", i know, super short right?? lol. well im so confused bcuz sum1 told me i should do lean n then yesterday sum1 told me i should do classic. basically i like a lil meat on me, on my thighs, hips, n butt, minus the cellulite, but everything else i want to be lean, my stomach, small waist, n toned everything else. i want a little bit of both but dnt kno which program will provide the results i want..can u please help me n give me your suggestion PLEASE :) Thanks!!

  • I just got the p90x package. I have searched the web and looked at all the great results including yours. I am just having trouble deciding between the classic or lean. I'm about 15 pounds overweight. I don't look overweight cause i'm tall. I'm 22 yr. old woman at 176lbs. I really just want to lose the 15 lbs. and tone it up.   • @TheJhaz02 Do the lean version, also you can change the number of reps you perform, if you don't want to get too bulky you'll just do lighter weights and more reps. If you want to blog about your results I'll reimburse you the cost of P90x

    I can hardly finish the whole 60 minute workout; I usually top out at 35-40 minutes. How did you manage the first week? And also, did you follow the diet plan?

  • @itsmariaaann There is a "lean" version you can follow that will be great for you, it replaces some of the resistance workouts with a cardio workout.

  • @itsmariaaann I would try and follow a fitness model workout...p90x willl only work if you put the effort into it. You are not going to get bulky most female competition body builder workout 4 hrs a day take all kinds of supplements and steriods so don't use bulkyness as a excuse

    not too sure if anyone has really told you the truth about building muscle....especially for women. Women don't bulk up like men do unless you take steroids to do so. If you eat properly you'll lose fat and tone the muscles you already have.

    Check out Msfitness68...she's cut but still absolutely gorgeous.

  • I'm doing p90x right now, and I've started the doubles program. But, I'm not sure if I should be doing the lean program instead. I'm a female of average weight for my height and I just want to lose around 10 lbs max (and gain muscle of course). Any suggestions?

  • abs that make you say "god you spend a lot of time in the gym" are LAME... I mean, really, I think ANY regime for an hour a day will get you results... those abs are unfeminine..

  • i am in the same situation it sounds like you were in. Did you strictly follow their diet or just focus on the exercise? I eat average now. Nothing strict and nothing overly aweful. What is your suggestion for results like yours?

    I have a body type very similar to what you started with... the only difference is I haven't seen ANY results!!! I started out the first 4 weeks completely committed. (Diet and exercise) Phse two, I dropped down to 3-4 days/week. I am now starting phase 3... I am thinking ir must be my eating... My thyroid is fine... Is there breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner that you swear by? Thanks so very much, you are inspiring!

  • great transformation i just bought P90x and cant wait to start it as i have always been overweight and would love to get to what your at now. Did you just do the workouts by p90x? which version did you do(lean,classic etc) and is that 180days or 90?.. once again good job :)

  • OMG! I ordered my P90X and 3 wks later I found out I was pregnant w/ my 4th baby. I'm 5 1/2 mths pregnant and due 10/15/10 I can't wait to have my baby to start my P90X wrkouts and BRING it. Great JOB!! The friend that I lend my dvd's cause I can't do them left me in shock. He has dropped so much weight and he is on his 2nd round. Hope you the best and keep doing such a great job.   • I havent had a solid sh_t in 15 years because i stay on the Jenny Keg program its 18 beers a day and i do the flush everyday keeps my pipe clean and it like its sterilizing the inside with Alcohol , and i feel GREAT afterwards .

    Remember try the Jenny Keg program it works i lost 2 lbs in 3 seconds .

  • I've been doing Insanity for about two weeks and have lost 1 1/2 inches off my waist, my tummy looks more toned, my legs look fantastic, and my little chin flab is starting to diminish. Will be doing P90x as soon as I'm done with the 60-day program. Thanks for this vid ThingBig221, you really are an inspiration to many women who think "I can't do this".

  • OMG I know exactly what you mean. I would constantly express to my mother-in-law that I'm trying to lose weight and she would say, "Well, I don't think your body will change that drastically" or "Trust me, your body will never go back to the way it was before you had a baby."

  • @3DGfanforeva You may be too young, just stick to being active and maybe doing a total body workout 3 times a week for now.

  • @3DGfanforeva You'llbe fine with p90x. it is well made and very complete. out of shape 40 plus year olds can do it with some health problems so you should definetly be fine. I'm 16 and had a friend that did it at like 15. He got sronger fatser lost weight more flexible looked better too. adn i knew a highschool wrestling coach that used it for his team. they were already national level adn it helped their conditing improve.

  • @3DGfanforeva nah u are not too young i did my first round of P90x when was 14 it doesnt hurt just u need to lsiten to your body more so if u feel that ua re pushing too much u need to stop to prevent injury the porblem with working out at a young age younger ppl have a ego to not know when to stop besides that most ppl wont stick with it but if u are dedicated no reason u can't do P90x at your age

  • @3DGfanforeva working out before your peak growth can actually stunt or slow it so be careful of how much wieght training u do just stick to running and staying cardio fit until 18 - 20 when you matabolism starts to slow

  • @3DGfanforeva I`m 14 and i am on day 67 on the p90x program, and i have not got a single indury.I have got in to an excelent shape. so if i can do it why cant you? . but if you get p90x i recommend you too not push yourself too hard at the resistance workouts. that may cause injury. I started slow and caution. and as i got stronger i just keep pushing my self harder and harder. that way you will not get muscle injuries.

  • @3DGfanforeva yeah i'm 14 and i'm doing this, but please note that if you haven't been working out before, this will be the hardest thing you'll do in you're life.

  • @3DGfanforeva --You're not too young for this type of exercise, every boy and girl your age who wrestles or does grappling of any kind does 3-4 hours of extreme exercise 5-6 days a week during the season, and some do it all year round, like me when I was your age. You can also do the Insanity challenge too, it might actually be better for Volleyball. The difference between those who go on to college sports, and those who don't, is what they do during high school.

  • @ThinkBig221 hmm I duno. I think she means it. People who have skinnier body types can really do tons and tons of pullups/pushups very easily once they get some arm muscle since their bodies are so light. Her body looked pretty thin.

  • I think P90X would be more suitable to me than insanity. I do have body fat to shed but not major fat. Plus I am more into toning and muscles. I am currently pregnant but I would like to pick out my workout plan now before my baby gets here in July. I guess I have all winter to practice and then by the spring and summer I will be ready to show off my body ; )

  • @arb524 Don't be scared, as they say in the videos, "do you best, and forget the rest". Keep us posted on your results.

  • it all can be modified, and if you get tired, split the workouts in half (half in the morning and half at night, just make sure you re-warm up!)

    take it at your pace, p90x will do the rest, just keep hitting play!
