This song has written by Ghomeishi. As I know he got the inspiration from one of his family member with the same name with this song( Farangis).

I think Emad Ram wrote enough beautiful songs during his life. One song more or less doesn't make a difference for me in resprecting him and loving him. To my opinion, he was a very good song writer, he was also composer of beautiful instrumental classical pieces, His solos of flute were excellent. The lyrics are by Saeed Dabiri and the music is composed by Siavash Ghomayshi. Farangis is the first song composed by Siavash (when he was 14 years old).

Emad Raam was officially the first to sing the song but this doesn't mean that Siavash Ghomayshi's version is a cover!

Of course, you wouldn't expect Siavash to sing it himself at that age!!!!!

from what ghomeishi says in his interview, he composed the song himself and lyrics written by one of the people he used to work with! Either he's lying or this dude covered ghomeishi's work. Latter being very unlikely.

@az1zcolumbi Dude, Ghomeishi was a composer way before he first sang in Farsi. His pieces of work used to be played in the national Radio. It's a known fact that He composed the song, Not Emad Ram (RIP)

@amirmk1368 This is true and Ghomeishi mentioned this is his latest interview. Ghomeishi composed his first official song at the age of 13 that was published and sang by much older than my age singers of old times. (cant remember the name of the performer)

there is no point of comparison. Ghomaishi just exposed his weakness and lack of knowledge to music by singing this song. It was an error of him to pick a song from Ostad Emad. Emad ram's version is way more beautiful than anyone who might interpret his songs. You feel the escence of his spirit while in Ghomaishi, it is an interpretation without spirit. , a clumsy attempt to imitate Emad. Rest in peace dear Emad.
