  • Yes she did fully recover. She has had some off and on lameness problems but I dont attribute those to the WNV, but to poor farriers and stress after she received the three interferon injections intravenously by the primary veterinarian. She has recently been found to have some damage done to her flexor tendons that was seen on a MRI of her left front leg. However that could have been there previously from her jumping/eventing career and she just never showed extreme lameness. hchapman82

  • Did your horse fully recover? I'm currently treating my gelding for WNV and my vet hasn't mentioned interferon. I'm having so much trouble finding information on treatment for this disease. I'd love to hear more about your experience and know Trinitee is doing. McDee1964
