I'm neither African, nor Communist, far from it. I'm a Canadian conservative. But you'd be blind to think that Sankara was not one of the best leaders in Africa. Would I have liked to see Sankara be more supportive of a free market? Of course, but in a nation where the "free" market was simply exploitation by the West... Socialism is the only logical alternative. I have nothing but respect for the man. You can not kill ideas.

'Le Ditanye' or Anthem of Victory from Burkina Faso was composed by it's former President Thomas Sankara end is in my opinion 1 of the most beautiful anthems in the world.

@03333032 I agree, this anthem is an inspiring piece of music. I like think of a beautiful sunrise when I hear this song. The man who wrote it is one of the greatest men that Africa has prodced.
