Hey man I really love your videos, i'm making a website to help beginners how to record, what equipment to choose, and would like to point them to your channel if you don't mind, I think that your videos are really helpful. My site is on ' ultimateaudio org ' it's just a start but it will be updated with a lot more info and lot of different links that i find helpful
I've built a pedal board that had 1 major 12V power supply. From there, I put on the appropriate fuses followed by a diode to isolate each cord coming off, followed by the appropriate voltage regulator (9V, 12V, 24V...) with the appropriate ratings (obvious input of 12V somewhere within the range) and attached the cable lead onto that to run to the pedal. Now across the regulator output, I put in a 26V capacitor (around 2200uf). This will help for any higher mA pedals taking away from the rest.
Hi, and thank you for your very informative videos. I would have a suggestion. To increase the number of your followers, you could insert english subtitles ? It would help considerably people speaking a bad English like me ;-)
random quesiton, why are my garageband songs so quiet when i send them to itunes? Its a decent mix in gband and its definitely not quiet until i send it to itunes, is there anything i can do about this?
@Hellraiser900218 It's better for powering not only MORE pedals at once, but also for powering things like Line6 pedals which will not run off of a 1Spot.
Alright, so I bought one of those Electro Harmonix Micro Synthersizer's but i don't know what it does. I was thinking about selling it, but I wanted to make sure i wouldn't be giving away something I could use. Can you explain, please?
p.s. Before people claim that I'm ignorant for buying something and not knowing what it does, I bought a box of midi cables, microphones, and other stuff for $20 at some yard sale. The Electro Harmonix Micro Synthesizer happened to be in the box as well. :P
@GaragebandandBeyond THANK YOU! So far almost every online contest is only for 18 and older people. No one thinks about the teenage gearheads anymore...
Line 6 Pod XT Live, now that uses a weird power supply. You can get the right voltage, the right milliamps, try both polarities but it still wont work. Turns out it's an AC supply - I gave up and got the replacement from Line 6!
@TheTooter22 For the contest?? ahaha nothing at all!! I do these things out of my own pocket and I go the extra mile when I find a company I really like and would like to help.
@GaragebandandBeyond ok, thanks...btw, I think its great that you respond to your viewers comments. Most of the channels i've subscribed to in the past don't bother to take the time and it really helps set you apart.
@GaragebandandBeyond The OneSpot is a Visual Sound device; are they owned by Boss? I honestly wouldn't know. I'm sure the Power All is great, but the One Spot (which is advertised to having 1700mA) gets the job done for me.
@GaragebandandBeyond Yeah that is true! Maybe should sign up for the mailing list. I like the channel a lot so wouldn't hurt! To win the contest would just be bonus!
@Deepershadeof ...got this info from another youtube video here qxiCPybUibg --- The Power-All is autosensing and will accept any wall voltage and step it down to 9V DC, so it can be used anywhere in the world. Musicians which travel to other countries can take advantage of our World Universal Travel Adaptor Plug Kit UTA-1 , which provides a plug configuration for every plug type in the world.

Wow! Man. My mind just got blown. I've been waiting to save up for the Voodoo Plus. I use the chunkiest, energy sucking pedals around. Thanks man!
Question: Does it work on the English Muffin for EHX? That things got a weird adapter.

what's the difference between this and a 1spot? at first glance they look the same, but I haven't really looked into it.
zb24148 3 weeks ago
@zb24148 If you watch the entire video I talk about the differences. When I say "Boss Power supply" I'm talking about the 1-spot
