All we have to do is ban guns and knives, then ask criminals to hand them over.

Why wait until now to do this, should have done it years ago.

Wait a minuet we did with guns and guess what only legal guns were handed over. So ban knives and see how many legal ones are handed in.

Criminals will arm them selves regardless, so ban crime and ask criminals to stop being criminals, we should see a massive drop in crime figures then.

Englands gun deaths 2009 = 42. The lowest recorded for 25 years.  The lowest per person in the whole of Europe.

Britains gun deaths are the lowest in the developed world after south korea and japan. There is no where safer in europe than Britain when it comes to gun deaths.

I'm from Sheffield and I know people as young as 14 who have had three of their friends either shot or stabbed to death.

It's a bit ignorant in my opinon to say only London and Manchester have a problem, when Sheffield is one of the safest cities in the UK and has cases as bad as that.

Every city in the UK has a problem with gun and Knife crime,but some more than others.
