Shit I had a 3rd gen h22 swapped in it was quick as hell up to like 80 or 90.... this motor is just a basic BMW straight 6 probably not even VANOS and ya a properly modded h22 Lude should run toe to toe with plenty of bimmers and I know from experience a boxter. But try racing a v8 BMW, and this particular Honda will get smashed...
@BMWkamikaze540 yes that e30 is a vanos machine as it is an m50, the m20 (in my opinion a better more lively engine) was not vanos. even a well sorted lude or teg could not hold a candle to an e30 325is with the same amount of money spent on it as its rival,
I'm building a m60 e30 with an m3 diff, 5 speed box, roll cage, bucket seats, gaz coilovers and grooved and vented big brake kit.
Nice lude bro. Don't listen to the haters. My stock 93 vtec was very fun and responsive on twisties. You can't beat the rpm range of hondas they are great.

must have been the type s prelude (quick car!) ive got an E30 with the m20B25 engine and its quicker than the 190hp prelude vtec 2.2, although vtec's are very cool too!
dirtydoogle, nothing is cool about vtec, its crap, it just changes the exhaust note as it certainly dosent give it big power increases, hondas generally are poor
@davienlaura gtfo you dont know anything about cars, vtec when its activated it switches cam profiles to a cam with longer lobes which allows the valves to open longer
